No he hasn't.
You ain't gonna win shit regardless you twatsGus still ripping in. love it. he's out to prove something this year, he wants to prove panthers can win a Premiership without Griffo
He's changed his story a number of times so far so I wouldn't put it past him doing it again.
I'm a big fan of Gus, especially since he's been back at the Panthers. How could you not like the man who brought the club its first premiership? But I don't like what he's done here, and the aftermath even less.
So hook took the boys to the Gold Coast on his own for a three day holiday. And the we cop 50 and he doesn’t watch the last 7 minutes. What a good coach.
Even Ciraldo tried to resign, no one could work with bloke.
Should we have just fired all our staff and let hook do everything? @TheFrog
Yet Gus was going to let it go on for longer... There is more to this story. One day hopefully we find out

What's so hard to believe about a midseason review and things having devolved to the point of no return? We've heard from multiple sources including the club that the reciew showed staff and players were increasingly unable to work with him for whatever reason in more recent times.
I don't think there is more to it.
Hook was stubborn and difficult and stuck in his ways in regards to how he coached. Afer a little while he started to rub people the wrong way, the club backed him, tried to work with him and offer him help and still he pushed people away. Eventually he clashed with Gus, the teams performances dropped off from earlier in the year and we started losing staff who didn't like Hook and we pulled the trigger on him. It all sounds legit to me considering what ive seen the last three seasons and comments from other people who have worked with Hook.
What more could there be? It sounds like this Dan Oneil character forced the issue with Cleary and put us in a position where we had to let Hook know what we were doing.
Gus said he was trying to make it work. Why? That's my question.
We sack hook during Origin. This story gets buried in Origin hype. We don't have an important few games ruined by off field garbage. Ciraldo's interview will just be answering questions about this.
I want to know about the game coming not that garbage

Gus hired him and extended him. Firing him was admitting a mistake. Gus has an ego. Seems like they wanted to wait but circumstances forced it now. He has made mistakes during this griffin issue there is no doubt, I don't think there is any big revelations left though.
Gus said he knew it would be a big story. Gus also knows players and staff go better when happy. Why try to make it work?
Gus also said he knew it would be a big story. So Fire him during origin. It stays in the papers for a day or so. Then Origin takes over and players and Ciraldo don't get the stupid questions that they will today so close to the finals
