Gus was not lying when he said that interview with 360 has really pissed off a lot of Panthers staff.

The club was willing to let Griffin go quietly but now that is not going to happen.

Photos of Griffin's "game plans" have started to do the rounds.

After seeing a couple of them, no wonder we struggled to break down good defensive sides over the past 3 seasons....

You know Daz that I supported Hook when he was coach, cause that the type of person that I am. After his sacking on Monday night I went back and re-watched the last 2 games without my Panfas hat on. I was pretty horrified.

Is it true that he used to lock himself away in his office and play no speakies with other staffs and players ?

That is correct. I heard that yesterday.

They had to keep editing and cropping because he is so stupid.

His interview with Buzz today will probably be a print one for the Sunday Telegraph so Buzz will just change his words around.

I heard that it was all day about 7 hours and it accounding those who knew exhausting.

I struggle to care what fans of other clubs think. In fact I find it bizarre and thus kind of funny how some are so upset.

I'm kinda enjoying all the hate.

Now I know what it's like to be a Manly or Roosters fan.

There are a lot of clubs out there with disgruntled fans who wish their management had half the balls Gould has (most of my friends are Para fans and they cant stand the lack of vision their management has)

Let's face it, this kind of move puts his reputation out there for everyone to feed on.

If (a big IF) it was to be done this season then could not have left it any later. We have 2 games against bottom 8 teams before our real semi finals start.

Should be enough time to rectify the ship.

On the evidence presented. Why did Gus hold off? During origin time would of Atleast buried it somewhat even might be died over by this stage. Then in the off season set the record straight.

Fan hate is good... I don't care what other fans think. I only care Panthers do what is best for them

Listening to the podcast I think Gus wanted to wait but I am guessing that Bronco's loss was unacceptable. Follow that loss with the performances against Manly and Canberra. We were (maybe still are) in danger of fading out fast this year. At least now there may be some life left in our season.

Yep we now have 4 weeks for Ciraldo and the staff to get things in order to push deep in the finals.

If your assistant coach quits twice. How can it be saved? Seems like a was a power trip for gus

Moylan either which is a pleasant surprise.

or there are deeper issues here with Moylan. There was at the time some chatter regarding some social activities he may (or may not) have partaken in. Doesn't want to get in a slinging match.

I think most people would rather say nothing at all when someone loses their job to be honest.

Moylan never carried on in the media last year either. Whatever issues he has. He doesnt really put shit into the media.

Wouldn't happen considering the last few games have been the last straw. We were clearly on the downhill slide in a year we have a real shot. This was the only time it could be done.
Gus has overplayed our recent poor form. There were some alarming defensive problems in the Broncos, Manly and Raiders games, no doubt about that. The Broncos picked the eyes out of our rookie back 3 with stunning success. But the last two were mostly an arm wrestle until half time (Manly) and 10 minutes from halftime (Raiders). Followed by a period we conceded points, then followed by a period when we scored points and looked like worldbeaters. Gus is overlooking the good while accentuating the bad, in order to justify his decision to sack a coach with a 65% win record this year with the team on the verge of the top 4. I'm astounded some people can't see this.

Mate you have dealt in rumours on this forum for years. Don't you try and deny that either.

Now your mate Hook is gone, the one you have defended for 3 seasons, you are telling us "The focus should be on footy not this garbage."

I have yes but I am not the club. It is good fans care enough to chat and debate it. Do we need to hear from Gus about it everyday though? I say no.

I expect the fans and this thread to live on for much longer...I hope Gus stops putting it in the media though.

Depends on the condition of the release too. We should of gagged hook for a certain amount of time too. Even just 6 months.
