Ivan has his interview tomorrow so we'll see.
If we lose tomorrow the media will love it and go crazy.
I want Ivan to dead bat questions about Panthers.

Their fans deserve some truth though.
Never broken a TV. Broken a few phones through the years. Mostly during Panthers games. If you were a REAL fan, they would blink their eyes at you, REAL fans don't swear at the tv, THEY PICK IT UP and throw it!
No. Do you believe that is the only communication that took place?I didn't realise you were just going through hypotheticals. That's was my bad.
Do we really think someone recorded the in person conversation between Ivan and O'Neill? Is it even likely?
Gus didn't handle the initial media conference (post sacking) very well I thought. He threw a lot of mud at Griffin & made it personal which was the catalyst for this circus.
For all the advice he wants to give Hook regarding the way he presents himself in the media, i think Gus did himself a major disservice last night. Making sly smug comments, having Girds & Freddy giggling along & having Hannant in Brisbane laying the boot as a 'special guest' was just a poor look for our club & him in particular. It's just seemed so childish. Almost like we were back at school again & the cool kids are picking on the less fortunate kid.
Gus should of just been the bigger man & ended this whole thing last night.
Gus always makes it personal - it is one of his greatest strengths. It enables him to garner great passion and a lot of support.
It is also one of his greatest flaws.
Someone said he is very much like Donald Trump - I think that is a fair assessment except he is much smarter and more articulate than Trump.

There is no evidence of any of this. There is evidence it was just Gus.
Why did he say he tried to quit? He didn't really. I would suggest because he was stuck in the middle of a no-talkies between the boss and the head coach. That would have to be pretty toxic. He said just yesterday his working relationship with Griffin was satisfactory.Ciraldo confirmed he tried to quit would be pretty damning evidence.

"We worked together," Ciraldo said.
"Outside of that, there wasn't much of a relationship. I did my best to support him throughout the 18 months I was assistant coach. Outside of all that I wouldn't say we had a good relationship.
"I just felt like I didn't fit in. I felt like I didn't fit into the way things were. It wasn't how I imagined my role being."

Thought it'd be better here than game thread.
Hook is doing another interview with Buzz today.
He is cashing in on this sacking even more.
He never wanted to do any interviews such as this when he was coaching. He hated the media.
News Limited are using Hook to stick the knife in as much as possible.
Rothfield getting a 1 on 1 interview with Griffin is sure to win the bottom of the cocky cage award.
What odds that the deadshit is going to double down on what was said.
EDIT: Sorry... when I said deadshit I meant Hook.

One day Buzz will go to far, and someone will sue him for libel.Buzz just gets basic answers makes the rest up. It is the way they work.
