Why would they do that? To make him look like an incompetent? Why would they want to make him look bad? Because they are getting torn to shreds for sacking a coach with a 58% win rate and in the running to win the premiership, with four games left.

The more you dig, the deeper the hole gets. Once again, feeding the hand that bites them.

You can call it that. I call it having a bullshit meter that is reading off the scale.

That is the gameplan of someone they felt worthy of 2 more years. Took his side over Moylan... I agree doesn't look good for the club

Where was your bullshit meter when you were rubbishing the rumours of player unrest and staff unrest at panthers? You know those rumours that have been persistent since 2016? The ones that turned out to be true! Seems like your bullshit meter is f**ked.

I mean you keep saying the club invented the players not liking hook as cover for us firing him but this has been rumoured for years, did we recruit the media and former players like Sowie, Hannant and Seggy to our cover up? Did we know all the way back in 2016 that Gus would decide to fire hook four weeks out from finals and start planting rumours then?? lol seriously get your tin foil hats out.

They extended his contract at the end of 2017. Whatever happened before that was forgiven and thus irrelevant. The events leading to his departure have taken place since then.

The rumours have been around all year. Did we know at the start of the year we were goingnn to fire him and then start planting rumours?

You still haven't explained how Soward, J Wallace, Seggy and Hannants comments fit into all this. Are they just making shit up also?

Why hasn't hooks name been mentioned in regards to getting another NRL job? Jason Taylor got re-hired by roosters weeks after getting punted by the tigers, what was his winning percentage I wonder? LOL.

They are not relevant. These are things that happened before the club re-signed him. I don't give a shit about Hannant, he never even played for this club, but Soward and Segeyaro were dropped because of poor form. Even if they were dropped because Griffin didn't like them (as it seems Elijah Taylor was), it doesn't matter. The club vindicated him by renewing his contract and in so doing the slate was wiped clean. Is this really all that hard to understand?

You need to confine yourself to things that happened since late last year, if what you are trying to assert is that his sacking was for reasons other than a falling out with Gould.

Basically anything that doesn’t support your opinion is not relevant lol f**king hell this is sad.

You are saying we completely invented the fact that players don’t like him and yet there is clear evidence of that going back to his broncos days, I’m sorry frog but you don’t just get to disregard anything you can’t explain, that’s not how it works.

We’ve had staff leave, staff trying to resign, players leave, players coming out of the woodwork to give their opinion on Griffin but absolutely none of it is relevant toGriffins sacking?? None of it?? LOL you idiot.

You are not listening. They could have not renewed him last year but they chose to, despite all this stuff. Man talk about thick.

Doesn't mean they were happy. It's very reasonable to think that things could improve. All it takes is a conversation and he promises to make some changes to get the extension.

He lied about the development pathways, it can be easily proven. But every thing else he said is 100 percent true right froggy?

I still find it strange as to why we head hunted a coach known for junior development from a club we wanted to base our junior development system on, if we didn't have an issue with junior development.

There had to be some issues, no matter how minor you think they are.

Gould said as much himself, even after sacking Griffin.

To me as a pleb this is the bit I just don't understand.

Was it written up in his first contract if he achieved the finals 2 years in a row he had to be extended. Did Hook have photos of Gus in a comprising photo ?:p I have no idea.

Did the board override Gus to re-sign him ?

It would have been so much easier (and cheaper) just not to extend him.
