To be fair though. Elite players can understand that players new to FG not so. An in between would be the way to go
I've got to give it to you Franklin, your continued defence and support of Griffin is admirable.

That is not correct. Griffin has refused help this year (hence his sacking). It is only when they fell so far behind in games that they went away from Hook's game plans.

Whare made it seem like they were getting different instructions from both. That wouldn't of helped...How they thought it would be fine to keep going is crazy
I don't trust Gus. I don't trust DT...The truth lies in the grey somewhere..
Saying our players aren't elite enough to handle more than Hook's game plans is nothing to do with Gus or the DT.
how many plays is on the list 30? 15 teams makes it 450 players across the year.. Of course 10 words isn't enough but can't be too difficult either
They are professional athletes. I am sure they can handle more than pretty much "run hard and tackle hard".
Another criticism of Hook was he never changed his game plan each week to exploit a particular weakness in a team. He wasn't smart enough tactically to do that. Others offered to help but he refsued it.
Griffin just isn’t a good coach.
Numerous players don’t like him. His tactics are basic Park footy level shit. His style is boring, restrictive grinding footy. He doesn’t ever change his tactics or look to exploit other teams weaknesses or even to exploit his own teams strengths, he was to stubborn and/or paranoid to make use of the knowledge and advice that was offered to him, he was constantly making uneccasary and confusing positional changes.
Add it all up and you have a guy who is not a good coach.
Whatever else happened in his relationship with Gus is probably a factor in his demise but the end of the day hook wasn’t up to it, we are better off for having sacked him.
just cost us over $1m...The re-signing makes no sense
Many argued when it happened it made no sense and that was before knowing we would sack him a year later.just cost us over $1m...The re-signing makes no sense
Had to snap him up quick being such a gun coachMany argued when it happened it made no sense and that was before knowing we would sack him a year later.

Yes, I agree with Billy. It boggles the mind. @Panther_Daz, are you able to vouch for the 'game plan' having been put up by Herbert Henry1908 (http://forums.leagueunlimited.com/posts/13099516/) as being a full game plan by Griffin? It makes no sense. Did Griffin not even identify a weak defender in the opposition and tell someone big to run at him? Because that is basic opposition planning 101. Did he not think our opposition were telling players to run at Maloney? It boggles the mind and I refuse to believe he didn’t at the very least consider that.

I highly doubt that's his whole game plan. Looks to me that's just he's key indicators / words that he wants his team to focus on.
Commence witch hunt 101.
