Yeah, there’s a lot of noise, you can’t really know what’s going on. Gould is a great politician though, I’d believe there’s a lot of lies in there.
Herbert, I agree given there are many narratives someone has to be telling porkies in this situation.
At the end of the day, based on what I listened to on the podcast, Phil Gould has been undermined and that makes his position at our club untenable and I think that is a very sad day for our club.
I think it is going to backfire bigtime in the short and long term
Whether you like or dislike Phil Gould there is no one who could deny he loves the club, loves the current playing group and has done everything in his power to put this club in a position to compete for a position in the semi finals year in year out.
It is now clear he made poor decisions around the sacking of Ivan Cleary and hiring of Anthony Griffin but do you throw the baby out with the bath water or do you move on and minimise the damage.
