The salary cap is supposedly in place to spread player talent across all clubs in the League, otherwise you’d have wealthier clubs continuously signing star players at the expense of financially weaker clubs

The reason why the Storm are so strong season after season is because of Craig Bellamy and the coaching staff there. Why shouldn’t other clubs similarly benefit from his obvious expertise?

You can't make Bellamy move clubs. Indeed, as happens with players, he may accept unders to stay in the Storm environment.

The club has allegedly paid $1M a season for Dave's mate. Cost wasn't a factor - we could have got 2 of Bellamy's assistants for that. But obviously their not close with Dave so he didn't have their numbers.

That was always my issue with Hook’s time here and why I don’t think we can say we had the roster under him. I’d go after an older half even if for depth purposes

Why do you get so rattled by him? Especially when he’s right.

Is it because he took us to 3 finals appearances in a row & you said that shit was easy man, then first year without him we tank? I get it, you look a bit like a dimwit now but we all do at times Umina.

Must have been slightly better since we played finals each year he was here. And this year we're not.
Really just wished that if he was to be replaced, then it would be by someone better.

If you ask most people we played boring footy YET we scored more points last year then we did in 2014 when we played amazing footy.

The difference was the defence and errors were shocking

- injuries
- off field scandals

- IC had a lesser quality team

MacGregor is much worse than Arthur.
