Don't mind Blues or Rockaabilly when I hear it, but i've never really gotten into it.

Closest I come to Blues would be Lynyrd Skynyrd or Steve Ray Vaughan.

How good is Stevie though Briza ? f**king legend. The ONLY man on earth to cover Little Wing, and do it justice.

I actually can't stand blues music ...boring 12 bar stuff kills me.
However there is an old Aussie band called chain that do blues really well.

This was from an earlier post of mine ...

Yeah mate i know the Thunderbirds really well. Love em. Cant say im too familar with the rest you mentioned. Remember that old Aussie band called Chain ? Black and Blue remains the best Aussie blues song of all time imo. You can download it here ...

If you're in Sydney, the Empire Hotel in Annandale is usually a pretty good place to catch some blues or rockabilly. They used to have these things called "Ska vs Rockabilly shoot-outs" where about 6 bands would play off against each other, fantastic. Not sure if they still have them though.

http://www.empirelive.com.au/ I think is their website.

one particular day/night i saw three Rockabilly Bands and three Blues Bands with the Foreday Riders Headlining.......that hangover took me a few days to get over.....but man oh man what a blast

I attend the Narooma Blues and Rockabilly festival in October each year.

Did you go this year dude. Lee Rocker was awesome but my highlight was Bomba. f**king awesome. Daddy Cool also went pretty good. Floyd Vincent and the Childbrides and Max Merrit and the Meteors were also awesome.
