i AM telling you KK has earnt more than matt his whole life.
KK was earning 60k at the age of 16....

Wallace is a catch and pass man, he is about as creative as brett finch

Then so be it, that is definatly massive overs for a 16 year old... if you believe Wallace is catch and pass man then so be it but i disagree and I think when Wallace has been in origin we have looked more likley to score then when Pearce was there.

it is overs which is why the NYC was brought in..... and why FITZY was the main man behind the push for it....
as we were paying our jnr stars just to stick around.... with the NYC all clubs are even in what they can offer a very young gun player...
if they want to pay them lots now, it will be an nrl contract.

Wallace looks good because he plays with Lockyer. Lockyer does all the creative stuff while Wallace just makes sure he does the simple stuff right. Catch and pass, direct the forwards, put in his share of kicks.

Unless you've got a five-eighth who has both flair and organisation (as Lockyer does) then Wallace wouldn't look half as good as he does at Brisbane.

Ill agree with alot of that, Wallace is no Thurston or Prince but cronk is much the same with guys like smith, inglus and slater doing alot more of the creative work. Pearce has more flar but cant direct a team and is inconsistant and unselective. Pearce would play better with a Wallace type player in the halves but still I don't think pearce is any better than a Finch or Orford type player, while Wallace is defencivly sound and takes alot of preasure off a more creative halfback (i.e he would be the perfect fold for a KK type player). Also Lockyer has been in poor form this year and Wallace and Hunt have carried most of the attack and done pretty well i might add, I would have Wallace up with Cronk and the best halfbacks behind Prince and Thurtson.

keep kris long term I don't care what happens with the rest. kellys manager is already playing the media game - offer him what he is worth. gee I am sure kris knocked back bigger offers to stay with the eels he is our future. I remember green knocking back a guarenteed 5 8 position the year the storm won to stay with the eels. seriously is kellys form in the lower grades better then tim smiths or blake green to trent hogokinson from what I have seen and I am no expert if has not been.

they're different styles Josh, but it's fair to say that Albie is probably a more explosive attacking player than the ones you mentioned.

kelly is the 2nd best natural i have seen at the eels, after hayne.
the kid is a freak...
however i dont think he has something KK has:
a massive heart and dedication to this club

I prob rate Kelly running game better (not by much) but other than that they are very similar, the big difference is I think KK has better vision and compsure, something Kelly lacks big time atm.
I still think there is only room for one of Kelly and KK and ATM i lean very much to KK but if Kelly does have a shot they could perform well together, but both being runners of the ball I very much doubt it.

I think Kelly lacks a passing game and a kicking game. Im not impressed with him as a five eight. His support play is great but thats more of a fullback quality. I truely dont see a spot here at Parra unless he wants to play center.

Kelly would get steamrolled at centre.

I agree. Daniel Mortimer is another player who Im not so sure will make it in firsts.

I think Kris Keating and Albert Kelly are the better of the three, but Daniel Mortimer is the best halfback of all of them (even though none really are half backs). Which is why I agree with DA that Daniel Mortimer and Kris Keating will be our future halves. (Morts at 7 and KK at 6)

I agree with peoples description of Kellys talent, but I dont know where in our team we can utilise Kellys talent with out weakening the team over all. Kelly isnt a noted passer or kicker of the ball, but with our backline players, we need that from a 2nd reciever (this is why i think KK is the best of all three)

Better then Hayne ?

Yes, Hayne was a freak whom I watched since HM. And I've seen Hayne do things in the Juniors which would blow your mind.

But I believe Albert Kelly is more Instinctive and more of a Natural. And because of the importance of the position (Half - 5/8) yeah I would say he is better.

I'm with you on this one Jake - always have been.
I know we've had some juniors that we've all got excited about over the years that have let us down, but I have a feeling in my waters about Albert.
I really don't want to lose him.
