I'm with you on this one Jake - always have been.
I know we've had some juniors that we've all got excited about over the years that have let us down, but I have a feeling in my waters about Albert.
I really don't want to lose him.

last time you told me you had a feeling in your waters...well it was time for a cab ride home

Yes, Hayne was a freak whom I watched since HM. And I've seen Hayne do things in the Juniors which would blow your mind.

But I believe Albert Kelly is more Instinctive and more of a Natural. And because of the importance of the position (Half - 5/8) yeah I would say he is better.
Thats a big wrap mate, but you are normally on the money with these predictions. Hopefully we can keep him and reap the benefits of the work we have put in him.

Parra supporters were crying for a running half because Tim Smith wasn't taking on the line. Well we have got them.... Keating, Mortimer and Kelly. Kelly IMO being better than the lot.

KK has proven to be a awesome ball runner in the NRL , Kelly is a star in the NYC where defense is non existent , i wanna see him make a impact with the big boys.

If I could link him to anyones game it would be Thurston.
kelly? in the way of ball playing his style reminds me of ricky stuart (but probably not as skillful). in the way of ball running he reminds me of mundine, who i thought was one of the more evassive runners of his time.

Good call actually.

I don't remember Michael Witt being compared with Ricky or Mundine.

To be honest, he remains a work in progress. Appears to need an attitude adjustment, and link better. A poor performance last night, but was not alone, I think we have damaged ourselves in the past paying for potential, time to stand on the dig and not pay mad overs.

What stood out last night was that our lock was smaller than the Tigers half back, I feel for Batieri but he is like Oake and others, size does matter

yeah time to pay for Skill rather than potential.

Yeah we'll lose some "perceived quality" but damn I'd take some proven players over a handful of wannabe's or possibly's
