What is it with young polynesians feeling the need to do their little hand 'gangster' signals whenever they score tries. Geoff Daniela a classic example tonight, after his 2nd and 3rd tries he does his little hand signals, seen many of them in the past, does it bother others as well? I would hate to see all this crap come into the NRL...

How do you know they are gang signs?

If he done the peace sign after he scored would you be offended as well

It seems pretty obvious to me, when I was at school young polynesians did them there to, mimicked the kinda stuff you see in american rap videos, I think it's pretty obvious when you see it.

I think the peace sign is a bit different IMO

Not saying it was or wasn't in this case but plenty do stuff for people at home as they don't often get a chance at the mic. There's always a few guys who will do stuff they have teed up with their kids or sick people in hospital etc. Just a way to let them know they are thought of. Again, not saying ALL of them, but you never know.

It's kinda annoying, but you've got to think that it is a part of them, their culture, their family, etc. Only one I didn't get was when Mateo jumped around pumping his fist against his head in a sort of 'dick-forehead' symbol last year.

Part of their culture...

What are they from Baltimore or something?

I agree, it would be much better if it was like English Union and we had aload of middle class guys who don't even crack a smile when they score.

Stop being a dinasaur mate.

I assume you went to school with a few and you never really got on with any? I'm not having a go at you or anything mate.
I personally hate seeing it done in photos so I can see where you coming from.
Geoffs still pretty young I doubt he'll be doing it later in his career.
