*urge to rage rising*

Maybe you were having a hot flush :sarcasm:

Why are you raging? It happened to me, not you. I have seen and felt enough personally to believe what I believe. No need to mock people if your views are different.

As I said, the doctor who diagnosed it as a flu might have been right, but I have never seen myself look as pale as I did that night.

And the thing is, if it was a genuine hot flush, my blood vessels would be dilated, not constricted - I'd be red, not deathly pale...

I don't know what happened, but it was weird.

No need to get so precious. The hot flush thing was obviously a joke. You know, considering it's primarily something women with menopause experience...

Not being precious - just questioning why you treat the views/stories/opinions presented in this thread with disdain and contempt. You don't believe in the paranormal? Fine.

And while I do, I've never explicitly claimed it to be a paranormal occurrence - just something that weirded me out.

And if my questioning you made you get defensive and call me precious, well...take a look in the mirror some time...

Nerves are crazy things. I got a bit of damage on my right leg, randomly freezes and burns like a motherf**ker.

To be brutally honest, it does sound like a fever though. Particularly one associated with something like a flu that may bring on dehydration, which both exacerbates the fever and closes down a lot of capillaries and such. But I'm no doctor!

Some days just randomly birds come into our backyard. My backyard is a shit hole so there is nothing interesting to see. Birds ranging from cockatoos to crows to parrots just sit in the middle of the backyard. Why my backyard? They usually come in twos. Its just paranormal.

Alot of paranormal experiences happen when people are in bed, also know as dreams.

if it was just me i would agree... but i was the only one asleep at the time - mum was watching tv and my grandmother was having trouble falling asleep

I've had a couple of strange "paranormal" occurrences, but I'm sure there's some sort of explanation to them. I'll mention a couple of them.

The first was when I was about 17 and I had the house to myself for a weekend as the rest of my family was going away for the weekend. I woke up in the morning after the first night and walked over to the kitchen, and I found all the cupboards, draws, even the fridge and freezer doors open. Some plates were taken out and placed on the benches and kitchen table. And in my parents room the closet was open and clothes were spread all over the bed and floors. And I don't sleepwalk, plus I'm a light sleeper, and all the doors and windows were locked.

I don't know what happened but I found it hard to sleep the next night.

May well have been.

Sometimes, I have these vivid dreams that are so real that I can't distinguish between what's real and what isn't.

I usually wake from these dreams with some kind of ectoplasm on my pyjama bottoms

Explain that!

One time Captain Kirk & I had a 3 way with a green chick. Some of Fred's ectoplasm made an appearance.
