Anyone still want to sack Flanno?

I like how people are using the fact that we "seem" to be doing better than Des and Tooves at the moment who are struggling massively with getting people on to the park... and still use the excuse that it's because we didn't have Flanno last year that we came last.

Riight, injuries/suspensions don't effect your team's performance at all.

Agree Rubiks.

Last year we started with about 9 on the sidelines & it never really got better, & we finished with the equivalent of a full team out.

Manly are experiencing it & now, so are the Dogs. Bad luck to them.

It has such a profound affect on results - the Rabbits won the comp with virtually all their players to choose from - little wonder they won.

Well this just got real interesting.

I put Since 73s theory about Lyall coaching the team by proxy to someone who actually goes to training and he said that;

-90% of the coaching staff couldn't pick Lyall Gorman out in a line up
- Lyall Gorman has been sighted at 1st grade training a total of zero times
- Lyall sent an email to all coaching staff early on that it is his philosophy that the coaches are the experts on football and he would not meddle in their decisions as he has no authority/experience to do so.

Haha ... Not sure 'interesting' is the word.

More like go back and have another read.

Lyall 'coaching'??...... You REALLY asked someone that.

Frankly - you're not doing yourself any favours asking people that.

Have another read.

You have been implying (implying might be too soft a word) that Lyall Gorman is coaching the team by proxy. Pulling Flanos strings. However you want to put it.

I knew it was bat shit ludicrous from the start, but just for the LOLZ, asked someone who actually goes to training and knows intimately the machinations of the coaching system for first grade. It took them ten minutes to stop laughing before they confirmed what we all knew: You are just making this stuff up to suit your argument that Flano is a docile Neville.

Of course he is making it up, his Flanno hate became tedious 3 years ago. Got a few friends now through the ASADA crap and our shit start to the season.

BTW did you know he knows how to coach? Self confessed better than a FG rugby league coach, and Rep assistant coach.

You go gurl.

''-90% of the coaching staff couldn't pick Lyall Gorman out in a line up'' - I really doubt that considering he goes to the games and is in the change rooms with the players.

Although it wouldnt't surprise as I too know people who attend sharks training and are seen in the change rooms on on tv on gameday and can you tell you right now they have are bunch of nobodies who have never played a game of league in their life yet are employed to coach our players about playing rugby league. Lets just say it pays to have friends in the club, apparently thats all it take to get a gig at the sharks.

Jobs for the boys.
