Anyone still want to sack Flanno?

The sliding defense seems to be working so much better, no Ayshford or Carny who would rush out of the line. They're playing like a unit.

On the contrary, totally expected to be a front runner, April premiers, the pointy end of the season is what matters.

Loved the footage throughout the match of Ricky at various stages in the game. at one point something was sent to the bunker (I think it was a raiders try being held up). He didn't even look up at the big screen replays. He just sat there, looking at his feet and wondering where it all went wrong.

Don't underestimate the frustration that Stuart would feel about getting flogged by a club he rubbished when he left.

The other stinger would be that Flanno had his team doing exactly what Stuart would be wanting from his team.

Difference is Flanno makes it happen Stuart talks about doing it.

But, but, but, they're a really tight outfit and they're working hard for one another. I've never coached such a great bunch of blokes

And Canberra was the team that fat head went to from the Sharks at one stage ,because ehe wanted to play in the semis.

Fat head is now in a team, that is coming stone motherless.

Stuart rubbished us and the Eels ,and look where both teams are positioned.

"I've got kids in there who are absolutely hurting and killing themselves at the moment with regards to not being able to win,'' Stuart said.In need of more origin players...Ricky

Fox Sports was going on about Ricky playing 200 games and coaching 300...

The fact that he has a job at all as an NRL coach is just laughable. His standard of coaching is Group 10 (or pick another number) part-time coach whilst holding down a job somewhere else...

With our win on sunday vs Raiders, Flanno has moved into equal 2nd in wins as coach at Sharks with T.Bishop on 55 wins, and to make it interesting Bishop took 114 games and Flanno 113.

Lang is way ahead with 126 wins.

Maybe we now look at Flanno as we looked at Bishop as coach

Ah good stat! Will add fuel to the 'sack flange' fire. Not that too many people are complaining now... which is obviously to do with the wins, but probably also because it's been a lot more exciting style of play. Amazing what decent halves have done to our performance.

The question remains can we ramp it up when it matters? The 12-10 loss against Manly last year was a huge dent in our Premiership campaign and then the 39-0 loss against North Queensland was unacceptable.

There are no excuses with this squad and the depth is there as well.

My gut feel is that he doesn't have the qualities to take us to a GF or win the Premiership - I very much hope to be proven wrong at seasons end.

If anything, we should extend his contract a couple of extra years.

Let's make a decision after the finals. Who thought we would be smashed 39-0 by the Cowboys. If similar outcome , let's decide then. Remember , we will probably have to beat the Broncs and Cowboys in successive weeks. If we play the Broncs in the GF , we will be outnumbered by Broncs fans too, believe me.

Like Ads, I think ASADA was to big to brush off. Win the comp it goes away. If we don't, Flanno joins a long list of coaches who got close.

On the credit side. He assembled a decent squad and seems to pick players in the correct position. Debit side, ASADA, allowing Gall to run the joint and getting ambushed by the Coswboys.
