Anyone still want to sack Flanno?

Our forwards played ok, they were out played marginally.

The problem is our playmakers, Bird has just started and is doing what he should if not more at this point of career.

Ennis is busting his gut, playing hooker, then playmaker the halves role, and then close to our main kicker.

Then we come to Robson what is he doing that a half back should, he threw one good pass today but outside of that what did he do, he basically missed 5 tackles and offered nothing in attack.

Flanno has a major problem, Robson is not up to it, his option is to take a punt on Murphy who from highlights seen looks ok in NSW cup can he stand up to FG though.

Only other option is Politoni too play hooker, and Ennis to half, as said start of season Ennis is best half in club but also best hooker, and he is better hooker then half.

Flanno needs to sort out the half back issue asap

We won three in a row. We have the Warriors the week after next. Penrith wanted it more than us today. We went nowhere in the second half. We missed Fifita and Gallens go forward. Too much one out. We looked tired. Penriths second rate forwards are better than ours. Arona is not a first grader. Lewis Brown cut us to shreds. Bird got no quality ball for some reason.

Flanno isn't the best coach and probably isn't going to win us any comps. Unfortunately we're stuck with him for the time being. He did ok to drag us out of the hole and get us wins the past 3 weeks. There are some good sides which have all lost 3-4 in a row.. Roosters, Souths and Manly come to mind. Are their fans screaming to have their coaches sacked? The Bulldogs have looked horrible. Is Hasler in trouble? They look worse than us. Canberra look good at the the moment, do we want Stuart back? This loss isn't the end of the world. We just need to win our remaining home games and jag a couple of others and peak at the right time. Comps aren't won in April.

So he gets credit for dragging us out of a 0-4 hole to start.

Who gets credit for getting us into that hole?

Oh come on - every team loses. So compare us to them?... The roosters? The bunnies? The dogs?
They may lose but they lose about 6 games all year.
We lose about 6 in the first 9 weeks.

Be realistic.

We struggle to compete against the lower tier sides. Not the middle tier - the teams vying for last spot.

And we shouldn't. Not with our roster.

That means ONE THING.

We are not - and do not - play to our optimum. We show it occasionally. But rarely.

Personally the one thing l miss the most is that word 'attack'.

Following the Sharks means we have had some of the best attacking players to ever play this game.
Rogers. ET. Miller. Preston.

And that is Flannos MAIN weakness - coaching attacking football. He has little to no idea.

Unfortunately.

Like I said I'm not a massive fan of Flanno either. I'd love to have someone better. Fact is, we're stuck with him at the moment. We should have won today but we didn't. I'm not saying it's acceptable that we lost, but
it's not the end of the world. I think we've seen enough the last three weeks that we have a good football side and when they click, they'll do well.

Yep - not the end of the world. We will win again this year and probably some good victories..... But......

We we all know (well the smarter ones do) that we are no threat.

We have seen the best of what we have to offer.

Under this coaching setup it gets no better than this.

Holmes Bird and Barba cannot progress to the next level until they are exposed to the challenges and training that allows such.

2 and three quarter seasons to go.

How exciting.
