Anyone still want to sack Flanno?

What is your opinion on the coach blaming the rub of the green from the refs as reason for the loss?

I tend to agree with him.

The game was in our grasp but two plays, both by Val Holmes, one where he was dragged into touch after a nice break and another where he missed Feki and the ball went into touch (luck and a bit of inexperience) meant we turned the ball over rather than scoring points.

The ball just didn't roll our way today.

It happens.

coulkdnt agree more

good coaches don't need inglisses slaters and burgesses

they win the comp with nobodies who show no individual talent

in any case flanno has experienced top line backs like feki and bird

he should have played bird at 5/8 and gotten rid of gallen

That is correct plus a word from lyall on what you are doing wrong.

He is probably right to a degree
However we had all the luck last week

Which he was at pains to point out.

What hasn't been talked about was how gassed we were after the sharknado. Robson, Val and Heigno played busted.

Souths fell away badly at the end of their game too.

It was a good game of footy FFSYC's
Yeah we lost....however, we won another good game of footy the week before.
It's not ideal but it's been better than some of the other Shyte dished up over the years.

Imagine bird and Holmes and feki Beale and luetele after they've had 12 months together.
Who knows
Chad comes back.. Barba get his shit together.??

Panthers played a good game. Completed their sets, had a good kicking game, forcing us to come out of our end all second half. They simply outplayed us.

Our weak areas were exposed - poor kicking game, a lack in creativity, and missing some forward grunt (happens when you don't have Gal and the two Fifitas).

Robson did look busted, a week off will do him good.

Heighington was good i thought, however he went into his shell after the spear tackle.

He's facing 3 weeks out, or 5 if he fights & loses.

Take it & run I say. Was very bad!

Exhibit A- B Barba . Flanno buys a player believing he will replace Carney. Barba has thrown one good pass, in 7 rounds.
Flanno cannot get the best out of players, end of story.

So he replaces Barba with a rookie who in just 4 games has got a rep Jersey .

how many quiet games will bird have before the 'quick sack somebody' crowd start to get restless
or perhaps he will become the new sacred cow like holmes and feki

How long before people work out that Holmes is the best winger in the team?
Most if not all his try's have been from the wing I'm pretty sure.

He's a natural on the wing.

Might be worth having him & Barba play wing & fullback & swap those positions?
