Anyone still want to sack Flanno?

If anyone in this thread was suggesting to sign Nathan Brown as our coach hang your head in shame.

Today confirms everything that people have been thinking about his stint as Newcastle coach.

That he has NFI !!!!

Fancy letting your best prop forward walk one month out from the start of the Premiership with no obvious signing coming in.

And especially with the recent injuries and suspensions in the past couple of weeks at the Club.

They are going to cop some serious floggings again this year.

And maybe set a record for consecutive losses.

Brown is trying to change the culture and ethos of that team.

Get rid of the shit merkins that don't want to be there and buy in.
Flanno has assembled a crew of players that want to be there. Guys who despite all the paper talk haven't left yet.
Ennis is still on as a coach. Morris is on as a coach. No doubt gal will have a role.

Lewis and Heino took less for a shorter period of time and will likely have an involvement after they finish up.

Guys like the sims brothers act like the game owes them. They were bigger than any of the multiple clubs they have been at. Knights better off without him and tariq

The knights will struggle until all the bad contracts Bennett put in place are done. Brown knows this and the knights board hopefully know this. He will need at least this year and maybe next to clear the wood and get players he wants to play his brand in the squad.

In regards to the Knights, Brown & Moons will guide them through their dark ages.

In regards to The Flan, well I've known him to be a good bloke for a long time but i did question his coaching ability on a few occasions, not Since 73 type level questioning but still questioned.
I was wrong.

he's with us til when? 2020?

Like K said, retention of the boom youngsters is gonna be his challenge for this next phase. He won with his focus on experienced hardmen, but needs to be able to stay successful without them.

For me, there's no room for a 'rebuilding year', it's transitioning from one premiership winning side to the next.

Should be shooting for the Final 4 for the next three seasons, and with the squad we've got this year there's no reason we can't do it now...He just needs to hold onto Holmes/Bird/Graham/Townsend/Fifita without sacrificing depth.
After, 2020 he can retire at the Dragons - pay him overs and not give a sh*t - worked for Chris Anderson

In a way Flanno did same thing for us, from the Ricky years, Ferguson wanting out, rebuilding the club.

Remember Flanno ball it was not pretty but only way we could win a game with players we had at time, and slowly Flanno added players and our game changed.

Joey Johns said Knights are waiting for kids coming through he was talking up ball/flegg from 2016 and said that would take 5 years.

I can see Knights turning corner faster then Dragons

Can't wait to razz Fergo when we play the Roosters.

The same Fergo when he moved from the Sharks to the Raiders before Roosters "I want to be in a team with a semi final chance".

Well Fergo I followed this team of "no hopers(in America deplorables", who not only got a chance at the semis and won the whole kit and caboodle. And how did your team perform in 2016?
Did they do a North Korean missile launch and fail to get off the ground?

BTW Fergo when you enter the League's club door, the G/F trophy is on the left as you enter.A subtle reminder to you, of what could have been.

Failed to tell us who the sponsor is and (probably) didn't deliver a multinational sponsor either. Sack him!

Im getting sick of administrators being held to ransom by this cutie Flanagan and his cronies.

Just get the FEKK rid of him FFS. Let him take all his shitty player mates with him.

f**ken basket case of a club and all the shit leads to one guy.

I will never forgive Flanno for the stain he left. Blokes have stains, I still hear it from others.

I do however love the bloke, we won and he gives youngin's a chance.

He is a very good coach, despite his indiscretions.

But stains there are.
