Anyone still want to sack Flanno?

Tactical nous of a glass of milk, flanno

But he's using the players at his disposal. Only knows one way.

Without Gallen and heighno and the full compliment of the forwards we can't grind out the way he coaches. We don't have a second halves option because nu got hurt and so did Kyle Stanley.

We also do boneheaded shit.
That, is ingrained in the club. Has been since raper days.

Love to know the difference in weight in the forwards last night.
Their backs looked bigger than our forwards.
It would have been pretty daunting.
Luke Lewis busted his balls to tackle those big guys
.
He had a crack.

Shit finish ... They did dumb shit all night... But
They haven't chucked it in once yet this year.

I spoke to Lyall last night he was not a happy man.

I'm guessing besides the obvious that we lost, he is upset that all the positives generated by the success of the junior reps was undone by the first grade side.

It was going to be 1 of the greatest days in the clubs history but they turned it to shit.

You just about quoted him word for word.

Listened to the live streams of the Harold Matthews & SG Ball GFs & it was great that they had him in the box for a little while during the SG Ball. Love how he is so positive about everything.....he is genuine when he says it.

Very hard for him to be positive about first grade.

Next time you get a chance to have a chat with Lyall Buick, I'd be interested to know, if when negotiating with potential key signings, does the word "P-P-P-Premiership" come up & under what circumstances is it thrown into the conversation?

The stone cold reality is, that they fully comprehend they will never have the chance of winning one, whilst ever they wear the logo of a Shark on their black, white & blue covered chest but most importantly, they learn to know when to fold em, know when to fold em some more, know when to walk away after they folded em but never know when to run, even after said fold.

Report from Jets game

Newtown Jets 26 (J Gagan 2, N Mataitonga, B Ayshford, D Abou-Sleiman tries; T Murphy 3 goals) bt Illawarra Cutters 10 (J Hunt, K Glymin tries; S Crook goal)
SUMMARY: An outstanding defensive first-half performance set the platform for the Newtown Jets to run away with a 26-10 victory over the Illawarra Cutters. Todd Murphy was a standout performer for the Jets, as well as Jacob Gagan who scored two tries in three minutes when the game was in the balance.

Murphy should be rewarded... Won't be.

Fagan should be back in firsts... Won't be.

Robson should be punted to the sun, will be given the 7 again.

If we needed a part timer due to a sacking, I'd give the job to Shepard again before Price.

Other than that - Nathan Brown, come on down.

Your about to lose Michael Gordon to the Eels in the next week or two, he and Flanno had a blow up at training friday and Gordon walked out of training after Flanno told him if he didnt like playing 40 minutes each week he could f**k off. Not trolling just passing on what ive been told by someone who knows.

Parra was always going to be the obvious choice for flash.

It's a shame things have got to this when really all flanno had to do was man up and tell Flash he wasn't in the clubs plans for this year. Instead he pussy foots around, plays the guy for 40 minutes each week(tells the media and some fluff supporters flash has shoulder issues) and rightly so pisses one of our great clubman over the last couple of years.

Bad player management at its best. Flanno has a very good record of doing things like this going way back to his coaching days of jets when contracted to the roosters.

f**kin hell.
Flash has been so good for the club, not only on the field but off it as well.
Following the sharks on Instagram as well as Flash himself, I know they all do it BUT the amount of time the bloke is off visiting sick children or schools etc is very admirable. He doesnt deserve to be treated like that at all.

If this is true, then those leadership courses really worked a treat for our man Flanno.

Didn't Gordon spit the dummy at Penrith as well?

Maybe he should do what the bloke in charge tells him to do.
Looks like he went off too early too because he'd be probably playing 80 again this week.
