Lichaa played not munch more before he was picked. City/Country doesn't mean shit.

It was in ref to the comment that Flanagans Barba idea failed and that he can't get the best out of players " end of story".
Yet the rookie Flanagan threw in the deep end to replace at 5/8 has been a revelation .
Man of the match performance
Now picked for country after just 4 full games.

Good on liccha .
I'm happy with ennis though... We only lose by 2-4-6 or 8 with him, not 20 odd like the dogs.

Bird would of been picked for origin if Mickey Mouse was his coach. Don't try and make out Flano to be the master of talent development. The kid has been at the club for 5 minutes. Flanno has had SFA to do with his development and rise. The assistant coach, Chinless, would have more claim to that as he's had years with Bird

Totally agree city/country is not like what it was, they picked the young panther as well who has played 7 games thats it.

Its more now to see how some of the younger players play the game at basically higher tempo, in a way its no different for when these guys play there first finals match.

Perhaps a chink in our makeup as supporters is that every now and then one will attack another querying loyalty etc. The `I'm a better supporter than you are' syndrome. And not just on this forum either, we also see it in other places. Every one of us have the Sharks best interests at heart. It's just that sometimes those opinions may differ or conflict but that's no call to attack each other. We all LOVE Cronulla and dearly want the club to win that elusive first premiership (which was stolen from us in 1978).

Someone saw something in Jack Bird that's for sure and circumstances conspired so a position that he was very suited to but not necessarily his favoured spot emerged. That's great , but we have had similar situations before and not behaved in the same way preferring to move encumbered 1st graders rather than blood those with potential. Someone's learning somthing.

Hmmm memories of the times when millers coined the truiest, truey of the true fan phrase.

Agree with all of what The Popper says here (although, could have used less swear words, sexual innuendo & double entendres to get his point across, but in agreement none the less).

You can see how Flanno thinks, give Mitch Brown a run, that says it all.

Everytime a young guy gets a go it seems to work out, instead bring back Brown into the team and see what happens

He HAS to be the first coach sacked
Shhhhh...don't upset the toxicity level in the mangroves down there, you might upset some people.
Until he goes, we will always be in the same boat....cheer on a few wins.....down on a few losses.....cheers on a few wins.......the vicious circle continues
I still cant believe he is with the club after all is said and done.
