Why do you watch that stuff?
You hate Flanagan
You continually carry on about it in here
You say your going to chuck the ticket you bought out because of him
You actually want the team to lose

And yet you'll watch the press conference after a win - then pick a point in it to
hang more shit on the bloke.

Just stop watching the game all together and probably be better off.
Seriously... You are obsessed with him.
Lay off s73
It must have been an awful night for him
So happy up until that field goal.....

If he was trolling you would understand, this is more like the rantings of a jilted lover.

Every post is something about Flanno...... Since13 .

Wonder what he did to the poor guy.

After 10 rounds we have won 4 lost 6. Of the 6 we lost 4 we quite easily could have and should have won if not for Silly mistakes, lack of care, ill discipline.

I think we need a captain that will lead from
The front. Gal no longer plays enough to be the captain and Wade just isn't cutting it. A good captain is just as important as a good coach and we all know the coach is here to stay so I would like to see Ennis given the captaincy.

He is a leader, he speaks a lot and is not afraid to pull someone in line. He plays with heart and passion. He also plays the game hard and smart.

I have heard Flange and Gorman both mention how we could quite easily have 4 extra wins if not for giving up those late leads. Well we don't have 4 extra wins we have 4 extra loses because our half back and make shift captain can't close out a game.

We need a leader to stand up on the field and Ennis is the man.

I agree i.e. yep, yes, yup and yeah.If you are a professional team with good onfield leadership you don't turn your back, throw silly passes not on,or kick for a chargedown 2 minutes from the end whilst leading.

Where Flange let the selection process down was persevering with Robson.Topo slow ,gets caught in attack too often with the pill, and service to outside men is belated.

Gal will not dictate where players should be.It's a case of here I go,watch me.I'll do it.

Whose form has been indifferent - lets see how they progress in the next month, roosters again and the Red V. Should be interesting

Don't undersell our victories.

The roosters are a form team at the moment, 2 wins from the top and the best F/A.

they had hiccups but every team seems to be. Pearce/Maloney imo are the form halves paring and I HATE pearce.

South have been indifferent only due to injuries.

Reynolds is their key, he;s there, they win imo.

Dragons will slide

I put us in the same basket as the panthers, dogs and eagles. Good teams, on paper very good, had a few interruptions & some bad luck.

they will drive home, we just have to also, it's not like we are lingering at the bottom of the table.

Struggle to beat a very average side who lose 3 players during the match.

Play the most boring football on the planet.

We most definately are making up the numbers. Will be closer to the spoon than the 8.

You know something
Against the Warriors we were down 14 with about 26 mins still left.
They struggled to beat us .

In all seriousness I like the positivity, but the internal ructions and style we play leaves me cold.

Plenty of doomsdayers in here.... We've won 4 out of our last 6 and probably should have won the other two. Other than a statue of a halfback (offensively) I've seen enough glimpses to see that we can figure in the finals this year. Flanno neither excites me or disgusts me but seems to be the brunt of a few obsessions on here. Only 1 win out of the 8 and 2 wins out of the top 4 atm.... Jury is still out for me.

The fact is even avoiding the spoon is an improvement on last year
If he manages to scrape into the eight he is safe for another year at least

Unrealistic expectations abound here
Some seem to think anything less than top four is a failure
Some seem to think we have a great squad
We actually don't
A good forward pack
No halves
Awful kicking game
And very very ordinary outside backs

Other interesting fact is that in the first 10 weeks we have played 7 out of the top 9 sides but only 2 of the bottom 6 sides. Trouble is we tend to lose the games we should win so make of that what you will!

With our team we should be the bottom half of the 8 IMO. Put a good halfback in there and we should be top 4. Our outside backs are no worse than the Cowboys but they have Thurston we have Robson.

Yeah well I concede the cows don't have a brilliant outside back contingent but neither do we

Edit

And it would be a very huge improvement to leap from the spoon to the top eight in a dozen games
Achievable of course but a HUGE improvement none the less
I guess it is fair to have such expectations - I would conclude that is an unreasonable expectation despite nearly achieving it with those two dropped games

What is Flannos absolute peak of coaching ability? I'd say a semis berth with no impact in the finals series. With all his baggage why stick with him?

Millers my expectations are that you pick a side on form.

IMO this is not something Flanno has ever done, and I believe had a direct result in losing some very promising players.

Currently I think that Murphy deserves a shot based on what little I have seen of him and how little Robson offers.

Put it this way, I haven't watched last nights game, but I did record it and I'm not going to watch it after reading the comments. 80 min borefest where we score 2 trys purely because of titans errors, no thanks.

Had we won due to great attacking plays I'd watch it, winning due to the other team beating themselves, I can think of better ways to spend 80 mins of my life.

I think people are jaded about the week that was and are letting that get to their assessment of the game. I thought it was enjoyable and we showed some very positive and at times enterprising play. I'd definitely watch it rather than get turned off by the whining. All of the Sunday footy show panel talked it up as an entertaining match if that means anything

That is a fair argument and I would suggest the rebuttal is as straightforward as wanting to retain some level of continuity in the halves while experimenting with a new rookie 5/8
Two rookie halves would be a gamble that may well work
However the reality is it is a very rare thing for two lower grade halves to excel in first grade and I don't think many coaches would do it

In view of that then I am not necking myself at the slow measured cautious steps

You missed a great game where the Sharks actually aver came a 14 point deficit to win in a nail biter
Watch it

I also find it hard to enjoy a sharks win anymore knowing that flannos job is safer because of it. Its sad that I see losing games more of a win because its 1 loss closer to flanno being told to pack his bags.
