He has to go, we are trying to retain players like Bird/Holmes plus some quality players in Ball/Mathhews, what are they going to think or be told seeing that Flanno will be around for another 2.5 years.

No young player will want to come to club or stay, Bird off contract end of next year, why would he want to put up with Flanno system, he will learn nothing.

Roosters end of next year will be looking for player like Bird and could you blame him for leaving if Flanno is still here.

Put it this way, if you were advising your son would you tell him to play for the sharks in my heart yes, but knowing what he would be going to i would say go elsewhere

No chance ... so we need need to cut our losses and axe him now, regardless of the payout.

Not because we got thrashed in the local derby (although that was embarrassing).
But because of his consistent mediocrity in attack & defensive game plans since he took over.
Not to mention his ASADA incompetence / governance failures.
