Anyone still want to sack Flanno?

I was a massive detractor of Flanno, but credit where credit's due, he certainly seems to have the team playing to their strengths. It's even getting more enjoyable to watch with a bit more ball movement and some flair occasionally.

About 6 weeks ago, Vossy was commentating that we were the only team in the comp yet to score a try that started in the opponents half.

Low & behold, 10 minutes later we scored 1....& have scored half a dozen since.

I jumped on the fluff bandwagon a few weeks ago and encouraged other detractors to do the same.

Club needs to be united, back the manager, back the coach, back the GM.

We are right in this.

I was one of the smart ones .
Never in doubt.

... I think I was even accused of being a family member of his.

We just watched the worst half back in the NRL dismantle the best player on the planet.

Only the very best of coaches could pull that off .

I started this thread as a tongue in cheek go at the wrist slitters out there (after a great win btw) ... It's great to see that all of us seem to be on the same page now.

Sharks Forever.

Massive Flanno hater, till last night.
First time in a long time at a game, I was excited. Thought we would get flogged but to manage all the distractions and get these guys playing like this, it has to come down to him, it definitely cant be his assistant.
Well done

He was in charge the year all the assada stuff happened
We make the finals
Not here last year - get the spoon
Here this year - top 5 in the comp with a few games to go.
Peaking at the right time
While complete dopes were calling for him to be sacked after 4 weeks .

I'm just glad that Lyall fought for him and kept him when everyone else wanted him gone,
oh and started helping him in selections etc

I was, and am 50/50 on him.

What I will say however, is that he has proven a theory about him that I had, and that was he can't win without a star player.

We don't have a Carney, and our best play is a 30+ dummy half.

He has found a game plan that suits our team, his next challenge is changing it next year when we actually have two competent halves.
