If you want to do it on the open forum - i'd like to do an entree of Lake Macquarie Blue Swimmer crab on a bread roll with home made seafood sauce.
My plan is to catch the crabs, cook them on the spot, take a photo with the Lake and some boats etc in the background, and describe how nothing beats crab that is fresh out of the Lake on a fresh roll.
A bottle of Hunter Valley shiraz in the pic to round it out.

I do like sand crabs, but I think if you went the crab option a chilli wok mud crab looks more appealing. If cooked right it can be amazing. And as this competition has nothing to do with how much your ring hole will burn the next morning it should be ok.

Will have a geeze tonight fellows. Is Perverse still taking the idea's? Any chance Dilly or someone could create a temporary private forum in here for us so he doesn't get slugged with the lot?

Perhaps if they are going with a 'Yorkshire' theme, we should go with a 'Hunter Valley' theme.
That would clearly favour us.
We could choose between the seafood of Port Stephens, Newcastle and Lake Macquarie, or the beef and Lamb of the Valley, and round it out with Hunter wines.
Some of those restaurants around Pokolbin and some of those around Newcastle will probably have photos of iconic dishes - worth a look.

Can I still get in on this?
It is settled as a 10 on 10 contest, but CH and otori both said they are only in to make up the numbers.
If you and Keeney are more interested, I think the poms would be OK with substitutions at this early stage - or maybe they can find a few late starters too.
It's their show, so they get the final word.

Just all remember the rules on that forum are much stricter - so banter over there needs to be good natured - but we can go nuts here of course.

Good evening Poll Dorset worriers and greetings form The Motherland, more specifically, The Peoples Republic Of Yorkshire.

I have been sent as an emissary to welcome you, "The Ones Who Were Sent Away" to this inaugural game of Survivor. I am aware that many of you are proving to be too cerebrally challenged to join us at the moment but we look forward to the pleasure of your company. I would also like to assure you that although worried, we are prepared to put up with your collective smell.

We have already met your esteemed brother, billy2, although he is known to us as "roopy" and we look forward to meeting many more of you, please just wash the coal dust off first, we've just got a new carpet.

Farewell for now, the game's afoot Poll Dorset fiddlers, the game's afoot!

Yours, with much love,

Sandra The Terrorist.
