Noticed that. I remember a game a few years ago on a Saturday afternoon 3 days after Anzac Day with a small crowd present and the whole ceremony thing and it just looked and felt wrong.I was more shocked that an Aussie sailor sang the NZ anthem at Allianz. I guess that was because the NZ Defence were represented in Auckland.
There was probably an agreement.
Overdoing it? You mean at major events like Origin and the Grand Final? At least there stopped over doing the welcome to country.

Oh no! Imagine having to sit through something that takes less than 5 minutes that recognises our indigenous cultures.
I went to heaps of games and they never did it.2022 they done it every NRL game for a stint.

And if they did, why would it matter? How does it impact you?
Just my opinion but it’s seems a bit incongruous to still have ceremonies two days after the day. Anzac Day eve and day yes. Not sure about after that.
It's not Welcome to Country, it's Acknowledgement of Country. They are two very different things. At least there stopped over doing the welcome to country.
