I posted this over in JA so thought I better give a heads up over here just in case.

"Unfortunately I won't be at the game tomorrow as Mrs. OT and I are off on cruise tomorrow at 4pm for some much needed R & R.
I know the club will be in capable hands for the next 2 weeks so rack up a few wins for me whilst I am away.
We'd normally be up on deck having a beer for the sail away but will no doubt be down in the bar watching the game in my Dragons Cap cheering on the Big Red V.
If per chance (not likely I hope) we are losing by the time we get near the heads I strongly suggest nobody goes swimming in the harbour for a few days as I might be inclined to leave a big turd behind for the eastern suburbs folk to enjoy."

Somebody questioned what about if it floats into Botany Bay, well as long as it's on the Kurnell part that should be ok too.
OT, don't think you'll need to deploy the turd but in case you do can you put a little RedV flag on it.
Enjoy the trip and mark my words we'll be stand alone First by the time you get back.

Anzac Day biggest game of regular season: Frizell

ST GEORGE Illawarra forward Tyson Frizell says Tuesday’s Anzac Day blockbuster with the Roosters will be the biggest game the Dragons play this season outside of the finals football they’re seemingly destined for.

Currently fifth on the ladder, the Roosters are just one win adrift of the league-leading Dragons, making Tuesday’s clash one of the most exciting annual showdowns since the traditional rivals first met on the sacred occasion in 2002.

The Dragons have enjoyed a 10-day lead-in into the match, plenty of time to dwell on a lacklustre second 40 minutes against the Cowboys last start that almost saw them surrender a 28-4 halftime buffer before eventually getting home 28-22.

It was one of the few hiccups Saints have suffered in a 6-1 start to their campaign, but Frizell said the wake up call was a timely one ahead of arguably the most anticipated regular-season fixture of the year.

“It was a good learning curve for us,” Frizell said.

“I think we got a bit too complacent in that second half. We knew things were going to change around with the amount of possession and things that went our way in the first half.

“It was probably the best half we’ve played all season and I guess it was hard to back it up. We were pretty dominant for 55-60 minutes of that game but it just shows that any side in the NRL can come back and get you at the end.”

Barring a disastrous first 40 in their round two loss to Parrammatta, such efforts have been few and far between for the Dragons and Frizell said that consistency remains the buzz word for his side.

“The massive word around the camp has been consistency, not just winning games but in our effort and in our performances,” Frizell said.

“We wanted to find consistent footy and after that Parra game I think we have, other then the back-end of that second half last week. I think we've brought that and the more we can do that the more games we’ll win.

“There’s no doubt we’ll go through some tough times as well but hopefully we can keep building that confidence, particularly this week which is going to be the biggest game of the year other than semi-final footy for us.”

Frizell has played in the last four Anzac Day encounters, one against current teammate and former Rooster Nene MacDonald in 2015 that was halted for 30 minutes due to hail and torrential rain.

“It was the first game I’ve ever played in where there’s been a stoppage like that but it was a massive game for me,” MacDonald said.

“When I was coming through the Roosters playing [under] 20’s, you’d always hang around and watch first grade and just think ‘how good would it be to play in this game?’. When I did eventually get to play in it, I remember being out there on the field standing in line listening to the anthem and I just had goosebumps.

“It was one of the most incredible feelings I’ve ever had, just looking up and seeing that full crowd of people all silent. It’s something I’ll never forget.”

Game Day. Its a massive occassion, an emotional day where we not only get to watch our boys do us proud but one where we reflect on the great men and women that fought for this precious country.
It has produced some of the most memorable games of dragons footy in my opinion. 2012 was one that stands out, big weyman offloading for Benny creagh to win it in the dying seconds....
Today will give us a good indication of how we are really traveling. Its the big stage and roosters are definitely a top 4 side this year.
So cmon you mighty dragons, make us all proud!

Robinson's had two consecutive cracks at the Dragons by claiming players had feigned injury.....and failed miserably.

Was it in 2015 when he accused Aitken of "lying down" when all replays showed him being hit in the face by JWH?

What's the bet 2017 Robinson will attempt the 'hat trick'?
What made it ironic was that Aiden Guerra admitted to faking it at the judiciary to get Hodges of a lifting tackle from their semi. P*ss weak media didn't have the stones to call him out on how a team that is coached to 'never lie down' could condone Guerra faking it.

I just read an interesting stat, our left hand edge has the most tries in the competition. The roosters left hand edge is second.

That means our right hand edge, which we all believe is the weakness in defence is going to be under even more pressure.

McDonald+Aitken better be prepared.
I think you'll find it is Nightingale and Aitken or Milne. Nightingale will be told to stick to his sideline and keep a handle on Aitken or Milne. Dugan is back and will be told to concentrate on calling it for Aitken.

I think this time we'll be OK as long as they don't go back to the up and in defence. Hug the sideline and every slide wide to the right if necessary.
