One of the NSW Central Coast stations just mentioned they're expecting a 40,000 crowd or the match....

Getting better..

ray warren is a bit clueless, he said the crowd looks to be in the high 20's, but i think high 30's is more accurate.

Uh oh, crowd police!

What's your excuse Dodge? Very cheap flights these days...coulda been back tonight...and yet here you are, questioning others.

Lift your game son.

I merely asked... wasn't aware there were rules against that... ;-)

You didn't 'merely ask' at all, Dodge.

A boring little rhetorical backhander is not the same as 'merely asked.'

You weren't there. Just think - you could have been on the plane home right now celebrating an Aussie victory. Instead you're sitting around criticising others for not going in your sad little way. Do you have any self respect? (NB: I'm not 'merely asking').

Walk up sales may have been knocked around a little too.

I purchased tickets for Juan jnr and myself early in the day however around 5pm a rather dark and thundery sky was heading towards Brisbane from the South/South West.
With rain being such a rare occurance in most parts of the country, I know that I was tempted to stay and watch.
As it turned out the dark sky (which like politicians delivered little more than disappointment) headed out to the East before it got near Brisbane City thus not affecting the game but maybe taking away a few who would have ventured in after work in the suburbs.
