Over the years I have never met a person who has said they dislike the Storm. I like the Storm. All me mates like the Storm and so on.
Thought Id ask the question here. Does anybody dislike the Storm?

I used to when they had De Bresac in charge. But no, i could never hate them apart from that reason.

its cause we all feel sorry for them. They are everybody's second team. Well mine too, except some of their supporters on these forums are real Airheads.

I wouldn't say that they are the most liked team, but more them being the least disliked. I guess it is a case of out of sight, out of mind (although this is becoming less of the case each day).

After the 99 GF i was pissed and thought i will hate that club forever but now i don't feel any type of emotion towards the Storm. I think my hate left when the players that caused that Dragons loss moved to other clubs or retired.

I didn't like them in their first season.

I remember Clark reffed them in one of their first games, and everyone said he had a shocker.

Pretty much...you really get the feeling some of the Storm fans here have just walked out of Moorabin or Waverely or some other god forsaken Mexican deathtrap to blabber about how the Sydney clubs are killing the game with their poor support...and how Sydney needs to be like Melbourne with two stadiums, completely ignoring the completely different geographic, demographic and transport situations in both cities...

...Other than that, tip top! As long as someone cuts the typing fingers off of those fans, I have all the time in the world for what is a very vital club for the NRL!

I was quite pissed off at them re: 1999 grand final, but since Norths Devils are my local side, I do have a soft spot for them.

Although, there is speculation they might be about to cease their association with us at the end of this year, and if they do then I hope they leave Inglis, Cronk, Cam Smith, Slater, etc, with us or I'll be :(.

I dislike them and I speak for all Raiders fans when I say that. Once we start beating them on a regular basis we may be able to assign some pity to them but at the moment, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Why would you feel sorry for the Storm? They've had much more success than the Eels since their inception, knocked the Eels out of the semi's in 99 to take the title and are on fire and one of the favorites to win the comp this year. To tell you the truth i'd be feeling more sorry for my own club if i was an Eels supporter, i'm not being smart because i do like the Eels, but as long as you have that knob Fitzgerald running that club i think you can look forward to more of the same as this year which isn't much.

I don't like em cause they are Penrith's bogey team....but in all seriousness. I have nothing against any team in the comp really. End of the day if they provide a good rugby league spectacle and do it fairly then they get my respect. Its the administration and coaching staff of clubs that I disrespect.

I hate them. Primarily because of the farcical victory of '99, but because they are a pre fab franchise, rather than a club that evolved.
Their mascot, logo and nickname are ridiculous in my eyes.
Their team colours are reminiscent of a day old bruise.
They represent a city indifferent at best to it's own team, regardless of how well the team goes or what is handed to them.

I don't mind them, especially seeing as we seem to have had the wood over them in recent times. That will probably change in a couple of weeks though.
