we'll see if we're back in another 3 weeks or not.

We gotta be more intense 100% of the time instead of when it suits us. We're a soft football team.

The second 40 was a good platform for next week.

Hopefully next week we can lay a platform for the rest of the season.

I wouldn't worry about being "back" in April. If today was the start of continuing development that sees us hit our straps in August then I'll be happy.

Agree, However no point hitting our straps in August if mathematically we cant make the top 8 (a top 5 spot preffered) . We need to play well enough to win some games along the way, even if it means winning one half of footy real well (like today), Does that then mean we are half back now?

Jeez Souths were absolutely woeful, but a win is a win.

I thought our defence was a big part of that

moi moi smashing geddes i think, Tahu killing Burgess. In their face defence, getting there in numbers etc.... Seeing that sort of thing coming in your face helps a side drop the ball a bit more :D

Moving in the right direction, however play like we did in the first half against Melbourne and half-time score would be 30 to nil

There is no way we're back, yet. Wins always feel better but Souths had a shocker today, I just hope the win builds some confidence in the team.

2 points is to 2 points don't care how we get it at this stage. We want to be back at the right time of the year. We need to hit our straps when it matters most.

Next week's the test of whether we're "back" - i.e. actually a competitive footy team.

Cowboys without Thurston are there for the taking. And we've gone from 20 mins of good footy v Manly to 40 mins of good footy today.

If we can manage 60 mins next Friday, we should get another decent win under our belts.
