I doubt that Laurie will be in the 17 next game. Pity, he is going to make plenty of blues but the kid has more mongrel in him that 3/4 of our side.

I'm not convinced Tuiaki is worth the effort, too lazy for my liking. He should watch a few videos of John Hopoate and his 25 hit-ups per game.

even terry hill in his angry last days at the Tigers.

Tezza was capable of giving the opposition 5 penalties a game, but he was full of aggression.

Its hard to say really. We have the talent to be in the top 6, but we are far from it. One week i leave the ground thinking wow we are a real chance this year at making a challenge other weeks i leave shaking my head thinking we will be lucky if we dont come dead last.

So inconsistent.

My opinion would be something like the following,

benji -> reseves for a couple of weeks
lawrence -> reserves rest of the season
ryan -> wing spot for the foreseable future
teo -> dropped
farah -> I am going to cop a lot for this but rest him for a few weeks since he is playing well blow his normal standard, bring flanagan up who has not really disapointed anyone when he has come up. Personally I think farrah needs to toughen up mentally - every time he gets talked about as a candiate for rep footy or something similar in the papers the following week he mis fires, the way he currently handles the increased scrutiny i feel he will not get a look in for a couple of years.

Obviously I would like faster play the balls from our forwards and stronger hit ups as well but with our main forwards out I can wait to see what happends when we get a full squad back again - and see how we go when the real props share the workload

No point playing any of the 1,6,7,9 in reserves or resting them unless they physically need it.
Weve been without them far too often in the past due to uncontrollable circumstance.....crazy to play without them if the decisions in our hands, the only thing that gets them back in form is playing with and against the best...thats not in State cup

I AGREE, no point in dropping Marshall, playing state league will not do anything for his game. Just got to pick the best 17 and go with it

Chris Lawrence, still menanced by indecision?

quite amusing that you are indecisive about Lawrence's indecision.

Nope, I posed it as a question.

He can be frustrating, he sort of careers from greatness to hopelessness.

Like that game a few weeks ago, he launches himself at that guy running down the touchline and he ends up in row 4. The guy scores untouched.

At least he's not the next big thing.

Maybe he's the next Neville Glover!

Lawrence is still very green however he is already better then any outside back souths have, and he is only going to get better. souths would kill to him in their backline.

that tackle on reece robinson was pathetic, however since then his defence has greatly improved.

At Souths we like our backs to tackle other players and not try to give the mascots a head-high.

How very sad.

I would have thought so too, but I looked beyond his abusivene and cruel communications here and underneath, I found kindness.

In a strange way, Id like to think we are soul-brothers.

Two like-minded people, crusing the lonely seas that can be LU.

Bringing joy, happiness and peace.
