There was no option for Yes! And I am a Broncos fan....

But I voted yes anyway.

Edit: I am more pissed off with them being on Friday because I would like some variety getting to the game. It is a pain in the arse going home and going out again for every home game on a Friday night.

I love this dumb as dogshit assumption that Broncos fans actually like the current setup. Of the first 9 rounds, I've been lucky to watch 3 games live.

To be fair this season the Broncos game have been much better quality than the Sydney game on at the same time.

I get them live, the only bad thing is Oompa Loompa Gilbert or Raaaaaay commentating.

Gilbert is a shit commentator but he's better than Hadley. Having to listen to Hadley each week to watch your team is excruciating, we deserve sympathy

Expansion in 2017/2018 will see a second Brisbane team and the a Broncos Friday night monopoly ended. Ideally they will show the away Brisbane team live each Friday so as to minimise impact on home Brisbane teams crowds.

Again, the Broncos verse Cows game was great viewing. Alot better than Tigs and Roosters which i duely turned off, snoozefest.
The problem with the cows, they never win in Sydney and normally get nutted by a dud ref call.
Plus they seem to get penalised to death. Last night, only a couple of penalties, the game was awesomeness.
Punters turn off when the refs spoil the contest.

Not sure how anyone wins. There is a chance Manly v Melbourne will be game of the round, but not everyone wants to watch the best game, they want to watch their favourite teams and share things around. That's fair enough. Roosters, Tigers, Broncs, and Cows are all more popular with neutral fans I'm guessing. So the Storm game is passed on to pay TV saturday night, and the prime time slot goes to the tigers with 10 players out (partly due to the fixed draw). I don't think anybody really won with that game being shown live, except that it satisfies the clubs who were allocated the game (and their sponsors).

So Brisbane footy fans and Broncos fans get the same team for the 9th week in a row, upsetting not only interstate fans but some locals too. NSW viewers get a "weak" game between a couple of popular sides followed by 2 teams which they are either mildly interested in or bored to death with. And the reasons we got these two games is because they reckon it is what will satisfy the most fans. Instead it satisfies very few it seems.

Some of the games allocated to FTA this year have been garbage, and they only got on there to satisfy fans and clubs. But once the games that were allocated in January start looking like crap in May/June/July, the fans and clubs are unsatisfied.

Too many Broncos games is only part of scheduling issue.

If clubs are happy taking more TV money, they should be okay with Brisbane playing on Fridays. Its the reality, and since you have 2 games on Friday anyway, you don't need to spend 4 hours watching.
