I thought Nicho had a poor game in week 1 and they ended up bullying the Roosters in the back end of the game anyway, in a weird way I think that gave him confidence.
I also have always thought Nicho is a class five-eighth being shoehorned into the 7 role and Tricky is a really good 7. Had the exact same read as you on his game against the Raiders, he let things flow a lot more rather than forcing it and he really can throw some very nice selective passes in shape, that’s his elite skill. For a while he and Tricky were an awkward fit but they’re gelling real well now, shows the value of patience.
Exactly right on the Raiders, for all the chat about their classier attack they still kind of look to me like a team where most of the points come from massively dominating the point of contact. And they couldn’t bully the big Sharks forwards.
