And a lot of those runs were tough carries on the 2nd or 3rd tackle coming out of his own half. When is the last time Fitz put his hand up to take a hitup in those circumstances?

So many years of basically everyone I talk to about the knights telling me how much of a superstar he was/is going to be mate, led to PTSD

Days are definitely grim when we entertain the thought of bringing Sione back.. I love the bloke but he's not going to fix any of our problems. We've got enough average backrowers at our club already

We could do worse than signing Sione, actually we already have.

Sione is much better than Fitzgibbon, Jones and Johns. Yet they are all vying for one second row spot and possibly a bench spot.

Sione is definitely an upgrade on those three and he will put in 100% every game

Seibold getting some really high praise already. Only been the trials I know. Should we have jumped ship and sacked AOB for Seibold last season or the season before?
not Seibold, but i'd definitely be lining up Flanagan

One thing you know Flanagan can do is attract players and he also won't accept mediocrity.

Of all the current options who would be on the radar at the moment, Flanagan is the obvious choice purely from a coaching and club development standpoint. Obviously any club who decides to hire him as the head coach needs to be prepared for some degree of fallout from the fanbase due to his past indiscretions. That being said you're going to get some people being unhappy regardless of who you sign so maybe just bite the bullet and go for him if AOB loses his job mid season, which seems likely.

At the very least Flanagan would toughen our squad up. When he coached the Sharks other teams knew they were in for a bashing every week. It would be nice for us to be a team that other sides don't want to play.

Flanagan is the attack coach. I think we can safely say we wait and watch first. It could be more Flanagan than Seibold. I have little doubt Flanagan will be our next coach if AOB fails this year. Gardner clearly has huge raps on him. We. Have to make sure we beat manly to the punch though. Cos guaranteed they have him in wait if Seibs fails.
