Around the Grounds

Week after week lately I’m seeing playmakers taken out late and then the tackler sent to the bin just like when Hastings was taken out by Kaufusi when we played the Dolphins.
My question is why was Hastings taken off by the independent doctor but none of these other players have been after being hit late?
The independent Docs are looking for clear signs of cuncussion. Jackson must have shown one of the key indicators where the other halves didnt

It’s more the inconsistencies. Apparently Hastings had whiplash and that was enough to drag him off the field.

I’m no doctor but I’m pretty sure Josh Curran stumbling around like a drunk last week where the ref had to stop play showed more signs of concussion than 90% of the independent doctor imposed HIAs this year yet he was never taken off

100%, compare that to Josh Curran who got his head in the wrong place and got knocked to the ground and struggled to get up which led to the ref having to stop play but no HIA

Yes, DCE more than once, looked in pain and agony on ground then when penalty awarded got up chatting and smiling before taking the kick for goal

I can’t get over the stupidity of the blokes taking them out late. Surely by now they know that no good can come from it.

It all makes sense when you understand the NRL, the illuminati, the refs, George Soros, the independent doctors, the club trainer and the club itself all want the knights to fail.

But seriously, anyone wanting consistency from the NRL is going to be be left bitterly disappointed.

Yeah, there should have been a few more HIAs in the Melb/Manly game last night, that's for sure. Expecting consistency is a pipe dream though. It's not a conspiracy against us as much as the stakes just aren't that high if you screw over a bottom 8 team with a decision.

No-one lost their job denying the knights a try or forcing a player off the field in the past 20 years, that's for sure.

With the pressure that will be put on Jackson's kicks tonight I am just hopeful he is fit next week. It will be relentless.

I expect Crossland to take some kicks out of dummy half. Don't think they'll be any good though...

I think we all get there are inconsistencies with a lot of calls on the NRL, I just want the inconsistencies to favour us consistently.

An ambitious goal.

I suggest being an important club in a big market, with powerful figures behind the scenes.

Then I'd try not being the worst performed team of the last 20 years.

Cowboys now sitting at 2-5. Next week will basically be a do or die game for them, or they'll start losing touch with the top 8 very quick.

They got outplayed by the Warriors and we beat the Warriors pretty convincingly last week. Ponga back. It feels like next week is a game where everything can go extremely right or terribly wrong. Hopefully Ponga can add that little spark and make us a real top 8 side.
