I wish to play Manly in the first 4 rounds next year.

We have them in round 5 this year - basically means we're doomed.

Looks like Manly got their win so they should be ripe for the picking in round 5!

What’s the Cowboys plan for Luki? Paid up big just to keep him on the bench for the next few years ?
Gilbert will ultimately end up as a middle IMO. Cowboys have alot of good young talent, many of whom were recruited by Clint Zammit before he left so guy has a pretty good eye

I guess keeping him at the club was important? They let's lots of good talent go already and would have been hammered even more if they let the likes of Luki go?

Yeah but Luciano Leilua is up there next year, so he and Nanai will be the starting second rowers if Nanai stays surely.

Listening to Berry Toohey podcast with Josh King and he says when Storm were reaching out to him he wasn’t getting any offers from knights because they didn’t know what was going to happen with Watson and Pearce…..so he left…

pretty frustrating……in saying that though, he did go onto say that even if knights offered him a deal, he had his heart set on Melbourne because he is more likely to grow as a player there (same reason Watson apparently left)

Watson isn't growing anything atm.

Josh King looks like a rep player already. I hope he does come back and end up playing here again. Really grew to like the blokem

Can't begrudge King for going to the Storm. I certainly didn't expect him to be starter for them. To be honest I'm happy Mann is our 13 and not King.. Just different styles..

We need to build that reputation of come to the Knights and you will improve. Storm and Roosters have earned that reputation.

Early days for Watson but he just looks like he doesn't fit in to that Roosters team.

Just watching this game between the Terrible Titans and Torrid Tigers, I think it's never a good idea to throw a million dollars at a forward. No matter how good that player may be. He might be the Joey Johns of props but the salary cap just isn't structured for million dollar forwards. Million dollar contracts should only be for spine players.

We sucked for a long time but did we ever Tiger's suck? Wow... That's as bad as it gets.

Yeah mate, we were pretty bad.. Never forget 2016 and 2017..

But the way the Tigers play is terrible, no smarts or super urgency or competitiveness about them, although confidence is clearly at all-time lows.

I would be shocked if Maguire isn't moved on in April. Tigers need more than that though, there needs to be club wide change, basically like we did.

I like how our rebuild was based on character first, talent second. Watching the likes of Peachy and Co not caring if they win or lose must be heart wrenching for Tiger's fans.

Papi
Teddy
Moses
JAC
Koribete

All gone from the club in the last 5 years. All passionate and hard working top end talents - AT OTHER CLUBS. I hate that word 'culture' in regards to clubs and also 'rebuild' but it can't be avoided in this instance. Theirs is non existent. Brooks is quite possibly on the deal he is due to a total kneejerk reaction to losing all of the aforementioned players. Either that or it is big part of why they could not afford to keep them.
