Can't begrudge King for going to the Storm. I certainly didn't expect him to be starter for them. To be honest I'm happy Mann is our 13 and not King.. Just different styles..

We need to build that reputation of come to the Knights and you will improve. Storm and Roosters have earned that reputation.

Early days for Watson but he just looks like he doesn't fit in to that Roosters team.
king has started out of neccesity, Welch is injured, Bromwich was suspended, Kamakamica is suspended, Brandon Smith was injured, pretty much all their middles have been unavailable at some point.
I think people are over exaggerating the loss of King, hes 27, has been a 1st grader for 6 years and has never really been any more than a solid player with the very occasional good game. If he stayed he would've been a bench middle at best behind Klemmer, Saifiti bros and Mann.

100% agree. He’s doing well and good on him but I was not disappointed at his departure as I knew it gave a young guy at our club to step up, which so far Leo Thompson and Mat Croker have done.

Bellemey mentioned that Josh King was the player that impressed him most during the off-season.

Not saying he is a world beater but he looks like the type that won't lose ability until he hits his mid 30s. Has all the right character attributes and could be the Dale Funuicane of the club.

in a way it's a compliment to the Knights, that Storm ( King ) and Rorters ( Watson ) see value in our fringe first graders/bench players and value them as depth to their squads.

Just watching this Roosters team playing against the Cowboys and even when there is nothing on (in terms of opportunities) James Tedesco is in the thick of the action. Every play, no matter if nothing eventuates from it, he is there.

Why can’t we have a fullback that is committed like that to the team?

Well he’s the captain of course he’s trying to lead them to a win… 👀

Cowboys aren’t that good they just managed to knock off a bottom 4 Donkeys team last week. They’re getting shown up badly by this Roosters team.

Donks are back at their 2020/2021 form (i.e. bottom four) after their loss to the Warriors today. I expected better with Reynolds and Capewell in the team, but you can’t deny the Kevvie factor.

Watson has been diabolical in his last couple of sets for the Roosters. His passing from dummy half not hitting the mark at all.

Connor has been a victim of his versatility since he came into 1st grade and hasnt really developed into a position properly

He really should be a solid hooker or fullback by now but instead hes just a guy who can do bits and pieces of about 5 positions but fall short in all

He just doesnt have the skill set.

Energizer bunny that reminds me of the Josh Reynolds. Once that zip goes there's nothing left but an average footy player.

After four weeks to be on 0 differential is a pretty incredible effort given our draw. A win over Manly puts us right back on course.

Fair argument to be made that skills are learnt and he's never had the time in any one position to do that during his formative years

Otherwise known as Sione Matuatia syndrome

Making the semis you generally need to win half your games. On Par at the moment.

Pre season people were saying we could be 1 from 6 and we are 2 from 4 with a realistic shot at 3 from 5.

We had 1 bad game, lets just see how the team goes Thursday.

Watched the Parra game and thought Brown and Moses were amazing. Both of them have improved their game immensely. Hopefully it's due to Joey's coaching. Would love to see Clifford, Clune and Crossland take their games to the next level.

They're really going amazing.

Look how long it took for Moses to get to this level. He's gotta be in maybe his 7th or 8th year of first grade? Only played rep footy for first time last year.

Guess the point is you can't write off halves too early and I'm pretty confident Clifford will reach a really good level of play in the years to come.
