That definitely crossed my mind.

I think there's a stat going around though that almost every team that has played us this year, has lost the following week. I think the Warriors were the ones to break that streak only a week or two ago.

I was thinking the same thing…although tbf Manly were awful. Their ladder position definitely flatters them.

The Wests Tigers are taking it to the Panthers now.

Makes me feel like our last 2 showings before the Eels game were false hopes.

It's just an up-and-down tight comp this year. We're only 2 wins behind 3rd place..

Happy for the Tigers to get their first win but I do think Panthers played worse than they did against us and it was pissing down. It's kind of just our luck though that we probably play better in our match against them and lose but another team gets a win.

Anyone else here ever tune into Immortal Behaviour? Joey's a lot better when he's not commentating a game, always nice to hear him talk about Newcastle. Had a nice little dig at the boys by saying Millie Boyle was the best leader we had in the entire club. In the NRLW section 17:40 in. Also talked about his experience winning premierships earlier on in the video.

Millie Boyle was the best captain we've had at the club since Bedsy or Gidley I reckon.

I don't know what happened to Dan Saifiti but I swear his Origin call up coincided with the season he was made captain and he was loving it. Then it was taken off him and given to Ponga and that seems to be the turning point.

I personally enjoy the show and content from Gus as well. Probably going to be an unpopular thing to say but anything Slater gas to say is gold. I really wish he can become our next head coach...
