Not sure how true that is. Hasn’t he wanted Gardiner’s job for ages?

Also why would the Bears chase him as a recruitment manager? Would make more sense to chase POS who literally just built the Dolphins.
Parr used to live here and was a part of the Western Reds setup back in the day. Maybe the theory is that since he was here before, he'd be happy to come back?

* Edit: 'Here' being Perth.

Anyone watching the Parra game? Moses is backing up every time there is a sniff of an offload by one of the middles and it's paying huge dividends. Wish we had Sharpe playing this sort of role instead of being parked on the left the whole game. He is such a threat on quick play the balls, imagine he was sniffing around the middles.

TBF he’s been hanging around whenever Marzhew takes a hit up and quite often gets an offload and takes off up field.

But yes would be great to see more of this, especially supporting the forwards.

How bad are the Titans? Either they or us will get the spoon I reckon. They have terrible defense while our offense is terrible. It'll be a battle who is worse!

Man, how good are Canberra going?
I think they’ve shown that winning the middle and doing the little things right goes along way.
Credit where it’s due they’ve recruited really well over the past few years and most of that recruitment hasn’t been big names. Guy like Weekes, Tamale, Strange, Starling, Young, Mariota, etc all brought to the club as youngsters with no much fanfare and presumably on not a lot of money and unlike us they’ve managed to actually get their pathways system right including putting a competitive NSW cup team together year after year.
I think for regional teams like ourselves, Canberra, Cowboys, etc the onus should be less on big splash signings and more on building with younger players and money ball type signings to fill the needs
