Thankfully I wasn't a churchgoer.

I was 16 and 20 respectively when Newcastle held aloft the premiership trophies. While 1997 is still the best day of my life to date, I think I kind of took those years and that era for granted a bit. I really didn't know too much else. Certainly plenty of dark years in the time since, and I think if the team ever manage to reach those heights again in my lifetime, it's going to be a very magical occasion again. We're all going to appreciate it all that much more for having been through all those bleaker years.

For those there in 1997, the feeling might be close to rivalling the feeling from that one.

I cannot wait to experience that feeling again.
