Since when did we start including finals FFS!
I'm actually happy to include his finals record, and I do so in the Arthur's-wins-to-50% thread.
The prodigal son returned. That’s what happened in 2018. He did the old fly-by-night from legal trouble in the US with a big Vat of cancer and poured it all over the playing group when he arrived. Norman took it like it was a reenactment of his favourite bukakke movie.Who were Ricky's big successes?
- Norman had some good times but mostly trouble
- his english recruits for us were shockers
- peats, meh
- edwards had some good times but also bad shit
- mau went good. I think he was a ricky one
- I would credit ricky with bringing paulo on, and while he left for a while i think ricky gets some props for paulo
- dunno how much ricky had to do with semi
I dont think ricky did our cap any good at all ... he called out some players off contract, so what, happens all the time. He also called out a bunch not off contract and we ended up with digruntled cap wastage that put us in a shit position and contributed to our cap disaster.
While i agree BA has definite startegy limits, i think BA does very well with aquiring decent talent ... and keeping the cap under control.
2016 was a disaster and required an enormous rebuild ... to keep a competative squad since 2016 is pretty impressive I think. 2018 is still a disaster i cant explain, but otherwise we are a competative team, but obviously not the cream.
Itd be interesting to see coach win %s since 2016 .... how many are above 50%?
So he's lost 89 f'n games? Ffs Arferz. It already includes the finals. RLP have f**ked it up. You can see the discrepancy if you add up the wins and losses per season:
2012: 2 wins, 4 loosers
2014: 12, 12
2015: 9, 15
2016: 13, 11
2017: 16, 10
2018: 6, 18
2019: 14, 12
2020: 15, 7
2021: 3, 0
So we're all wrong and it's actually 90 wins, 89 losses. FFS RLP!!!

Maybe the confusion is about when he took over from Kearney. From memory Kearney was officially still coach even though he wasn't really.Wiki saying 91 wins
