Well Mr Raper totally dis-agrees with you Millers, as he stated in his interview.
Sully is a victim of his own effectiveness & slight build.
Then I could argue your point about rep football being the guide to whether a player is a good player or not.
Craig Wing plays the same role but is less effective on matches than Sully.
yet he has played ?origins & ?tests.(somebody with the book want to fill in the holes).

like it or not, impact play & impact players are part of the modern game.
origin is the Litmus test as it is the highest standard.
& both teams used impact players last night.

Craig Wing has been offered a walk up start at half at other clubs, why wouldn't Sully?

Cannot really recall, the point is however over 2 years the guy has had one full game in the position. How can anyone judge wethere is a good halfback or not, when he keeps playing elsewhere.

I am not saying he would kill em or be crap. I saying I can't say as you never actually see him at halfback.

I do like his dummy half play also, takes a lot of pressure off the halfback.
Markers and close defenders are in two minds as to wether Sully will run or pass, giving the first reciever an extra little bit of time.

Hilder never seems to have a go out of DH in the first 20, not sure if that is an instruction or not.

Millers. If there is hype surrounding Sully then it is deserved. As an impact DHRer. He has been dynamic out of that position for us this year. A real find. Like I have said to Mr Angry up here. He's a better hooker than half. Credit where it's due atleast!

Actually no I would have a fact.
Noddy has kicked out 9 times on the full this year.

Sullys defense is no worse than Noddys & can surely be backed up by missed tackle count stats.

given sullivan is on the field half the time of kimmorley i think your missed tackle stat would be about right

It was actually incorrect.
As it seems Noddy must be doing a bitof hiding in defense as he tackles less than sully & misses more.
here is snpshot of just the last 3 games
Sully 45 tackles & 5 misses
Noddy 45 tackles & 7 misses
That does not include the raiders match

Amazing that a player who plays such little game time, can end up doing more defensive work than a player who played 120 minutes more than him.

Im glad your not the coach Millers. IMO without Sully this year we would be last. Eg. Without SUlly on field in recent games we concede 12 points and dont threaten in attack, Sullivan comes on and we blitz it. There hasnt been that much hype about him anyway, its just been 'yea, hes a good player'.

I do not understand Sharkies all the Way, Millers I thought said would use him the same way Raper does. He just does not think Sully is any sort of key ingredient to our success.
