Millers - You obviously weren't in Brisbane.

We were getting BELTED until Sully came on.

It was shaping up as a massacre. We had nothing. 12 points against us did not do Brisbane justice.

When Sullivan came on, our WHOLE dynamic changed.

We went on the front foot.

We tightened up in the ruck.

Noddy had more time to plan kicks.

We SCORED TRIES.

You know the rest. Even the Bronco fans sitting near me were stunned by the impact he had.

So, mate, if people talking about a performance that turned a game single-handedly in BRISBANE against the BRONCOS just after your mum has passed away constitutes hype, then we're guilty.

however i do enjoy throwing my opinion on the table

IMO without Sully this year we would be last. Eg. Without SUlly on field in recent games we concede 12 points and dont threaten in attack, Sullivan comes on and we blitz it.

well his big chance to do that was against canberra last week

in terms of importance to the team ir regards to your "we would be last without him" comments i would place

and others way up the list ahead of sullivan

There hasnt been that much hype about him anyway, its just been 'yea, hes a good player'.

i am not going to count them but he is probably in the top 3 on this forum in terms of threads devoted to them

media hype is present also with daley in particulair rapping him for doing jack

You have been saying that there is alot of hype around Sully. What conclusion can we draw from this other than, you think Sully doesn't deserve the praise he has been getting. You also think he is only borderline first grade. Seems you don't think he deserves much praise at all, if any.

that is a pretty comprehensive victory Millers, why do you think that Wing is better than Sullivan as well?
Your argument that he is fringe first grader is pretty non sensical with the facts & stats at hands & given that he is the first bloke the coach selects in the team after Nuttley and Noddy.
Last year maybe in a very bad team where even Noddy played less than a handful of games that could not be described as disgraceful.
But better squad, better coach & both have improved markedly.
I'm not up for the "hype" of saying that Sullivan should replace kimmorley. But other than that, I don't think there is "hype" per say.
he is just playing very well & is deserving cemented first grader & will continue to be.
If Noddy wasn't here, he would be our half back.

Really? I have to say to have got me there Millers, that really surprises me. Channel 9 gave him Man of the Match I thought, so that's a turn-up.

Still, he was great in that game and I think you needed to be there to really appreciate the impact he had.

And I'm not offended at all mate, this is just healthy debate. You know that!

But if i went to the effort of averaging them out per game basis, sully would still win all.
Please don't make do that. it is quite time consuming.

Stevo is my first picked. he is the key.
noddy is important, but as shown in Brisbane, maybe not critical anymore.
peachey definitely becausethere is nobody else to take pressureoff the half, whoever that maybe.

i actually thought it the best game i have seen him play

but i still wouldnt have him in the top 3 on the field
