Granted he should be ahead of someone like Harris but he didn't take his chances. Lets not forget that Bancroft did get a second go while the little man was in charge.

Two tests in England 2019:

8 and 7 in Birmingham
13 and 16 at Lords

Only 30 years old. Still quite a few years ahead of him if he has the patience to stick around. Warner and Usman are about to retire.
His technique was worse then when he got into the team in the first place. Langer weaseled him back in for Edgbaston was embarrassing.

I couldn't believe it when i saw his name pop up at the ground that day he was opening with Warner. Me and my mate just shook our heads after copping a ribbing and some sandpaper from these poms.

He has improved & the cupboard is bare. But i don't have any sympathy if he didn't play again for Australia. I feel Matt Renshaw was treated worse and he didn't do much wrong and looked test capable way back in 2017 when he played for Australia.

Bancroft and Harris have never looked comfortable at any stage during there test careers.

For balance and a Mr Fix it in the batting, Squires MS Wade needed to be in the squad as a floater

No one forgets the two beautiful centuries the Nugget displayed last English ashes

Bancroft is currently playing county cricket. So far looks to have got some solid 20s and 40s - might be enough to knock the door down

England are always a chance at Home.

And we haven't won there since 2001. Which is embarrassing if you ask me considering the quality of cricketers we have had to England in the past 20 years.

We have a longer drought in England then India.

Outside of 2013 where we were still reeling from Mickey Arthur's mess we should have won every other series there.

2005 was a Ambush of the greatest team ever assembled.

2009 was a mixture of Punter's braindead captaincy in Cardiff and selectors not picking a spinner at The Oval.

2015 was a waste we had the superior team that didn't want to grind a tough day out. - Adam Lyth had a worse series in 2015 as opener then David Warner did in 19.

2019 - Tim Paine that is all - Stuffed up Leeds & The Oval with braindead captaincy.

Braindead, mess, drought, stuffed up, embarrasing...

Could be describing the Parramatta Eels here..

Australia should win, Archer won’t play.

Marsh is far from the worst option, bowled very well over there when given an opportunity last time. With Green also an option Marsh could potentially bat 7/8 if we feel we need to strengthen the batting

I can't see him getting a run unless we have a lot of injuries, he's probably named as a squad/back up for Green
