I imagine that Flann recruited Cook and kept Liddle because both can't last for the full 80 min. 40 min each game will make for a fast ruck, lively attack and good defense.

I think there is more chance of Kyle playing in the 13 jumper. He is a good defender and has been putting on some beef this off-season. A lock that can off-load like a half would be very handy.

Atkinson strikes the ball so cleanly as well. Hunt never looked comfortable attempting field goals. Even the one he actually made was very shaky and awkward.

Looking back on the replay it wasn't as shaky as I thought it was but was last play of the first half, 20m out, not much pressure. It actually put us ahead at the break 9-8 but then we lost 22-9.
