I found this kid. What a talent. Name of Tanah Boyd.. played 5/8 for the Aussie Under 18 Schools side in January.
I’ve seen highlights of this match and was also very impressed with this kid and the giant #2 for the kangaroos. Who is he? I think the commentators mentioned that he’d already played 1st grade as well??

Kiwis hardly had their best 17 on paper either. First choice Fullback/Captain/Dally M Winner missing, first choice hooker missing, Harris & NAS also missing from the forwards. Only a year on from "losing" the best forward in the game and one of the best wingers in the NRL this year.

I think these 2 teams will be fairly closely matched for the next generation.
If the dally m winner played FB and dallin played wing, do you think they still win?

NZ should have been favourites. Not a surprising win in the slightest.

Tonga match should be fantastic.

Campbell Graham.

Only turned 19 a few months ago. He was sensational for South Sydney in the back end of the season and is proving to be one of the most adept players under the high ball.

You should see one of the takes he took against Melbourne in the regular season. Caught the ball behind the back of his head then proceeded to race 50m up-field.

Special talent, Souths don't get enough credit for their junior development.

That’s the fella. Looks the real deal and like another “the next big thing.”

How tall is he? Looks to be around 6’4 or 6’5!!!

Totally agree. Graham is going to be an absolute superstar.

I think the senior kiwis will beat Aussie while I agree with you about the junior kangaroos having a strong side although the junior kiwis have some serious talent in perham, marsters and hiroti. Just not enough to stop the junior kangaroos.

As for the crowd I think I posted earlier that it would be around 18,000 but all the signs and noise coming from the NZRL seem to suggest a coming disaster so I’ll revise it to around 12,500.
Called both the junior and senior match results and wasn’t to far off from the attendance either. Should have done the lottery last night

NZ won deservedly, and Australia made far too many errors.Once Keary got injured, DCE and Hunt seemed to forget about Mitchell and Holmes attacking potency on the left hand side as they then spend most of the match going down the centre of the field or on the right. Problem was our players then would cough it up and give the Kiwis back the ball.

Again the Australia selectors made the same mistake NSW did in Origin 3, only have one specialist prop on the bench. Frizzell is best used out wide or on the edge, and Jake T is not a prop at all so expecting him to play that role is completely stupid.

I'm not confident of a NZ win. I want to be - we have a decent pack as per usual but it depends on our halves and as talented as Smith is he's been only a bit player this year.

We started so well in Denver and then fell to pieces so hopefully we can start well and continue on this weekend. Be awesome to win to wipe off the stench of the Kidwell coaching era (I feel it bit sorry for him as his reputation is completely tarnished now and his playing one doesn't deserve it).

Smith a bit player? Hows that humble pie taste? Mate Smith is the best thing to happen in NZ RL in ages. What a future this kid is going to have if he keeps this up. Good vision, crispy passing and a strong go forward topped off with a great attitude. He is going places my friend.
