You talking about the flick, drop kick off his heel regather and score? That is either the biggest fluke, most amazing conjuring trick or a complete accident in that he tried a flick pass foot got in way propelling it forward. Is open for discussion. Reckon that play may go viral on social media.

It's called the scorpion-kick. It's used quite a lot in the junior levels.

Smith a bit player? Hows that humble pie taste? Mate Smith is the best thing to happen in NZ RL in ages. What a future this kid is going to have if he keeps this up. Good vision, crispy passing and a strong go forward topped off with a great attitude. He is going places my friend.
Weird, what humble pie? I wanted Smith to do well, but he had barely played hooker all year, he said exactly that in his after match speech.

You called him a bit player. He hasn't played much hooker this year more used as a utility for Bellyache. Smith was always being earmarked to take over Cameron. The limited game time he had as hooker was still enough to see this young man is the real deal. I was confident in a win from the Kiwis. The change of guard factor with the Kangaroos without their Queensland legends is a huge loss. They will be without them for the first time since the mid 2000s.

Australia has been getting their way for a long time. They won't be used to losing a few games in a row. Brandon is very humble and never puts himself on any high ground. He would call himself a bit player but knows he has the ability to be one fine player.
