Both teams look strong, just think Aussies have got this one in the mens and womens, U/20s not 100% sure
The Junior Kangaroos are probably the Aussie team with the bigger advantage over their Kiwi opposition. The womens will be the closer game.

If they draw a crowd less than the warriors average I think that tells you all you need to know about NZRL and what the fans think of it right now.

Hopefully they actually deliver this off season. With the warriors playing decent footy and the warriors turning things around maybe they can win back some fans.

A series against Tonga next year would help.
15k~18k would be about the norm for a one-off test. I remember the last test I went to at Mt Smart it attracted about that much but that was back in the mid-2000's.

Last one-off test New Zealand v Australia in NZ was the ANZAC Test 2012 - 35k at Eden Park
Last one-off test at the end of the year was 2007? At Wellington - 16k

Lol. There’s that thought in the back of your head every time Australia plays someone and it’s always a possibility. I’m not as worried today as there is so little publicity around the match I don’t think it’ll make much difference.

I just want a competitive game because it’s one of our few chances to see international footy this year.

I haven’t been paying attention. Weren’t Cotric and Radley chosen for the Junior Roos? Where are they?

Australia chasing their 14th consecutive win tonight. Yeesh.

Wallabies haven’t beaten New Zealand in a series since 2001 and haven’t won anything against them since. Bash the All Blacks for being invincible

The Kangaroos of recent years haven't seemed like a good enough team to be on that kind of streak. Definitely not as strong as 2011-13 when they won 16 in a row.

The Kangaroos teams of the early 2000s seemed to be a lot stronger than their opposition compared to now but never won as many straight. Longest was 12 from 99-01.

Australia sure is blessed with promising backrowers..David Tavita, Shaun Blore, Kotani Staggs, Tino Fausu****, Thomas Flegler. The latter 4 have been outstanding today.

For soem reason, when the Kiwi's play away from Mt Smart, they attract more people, at Mt Smart, its an average crowd.
