If it is a money issue, I can probably find you players who would play for nothing as good as Jono and Ayshford. No wonder they play footy. Easy money. Wouldn't last with no ability as Sparkies or tradesmen etc. Vave would make a good stop/go man.

To me, management of the salary cap is all about getting value for money.

You might pay a player $700k a year but he's value because he will win ya a game with brilliance (Fifita?)

It's also about paying potentially great up-&-comers low $ & turning them into superstars.

We pay ex-superstars big $ & Cronullify them.

More to the point the derros we recruited are not in his class. He certainly polarises opinion! Scored some ripper tries in 20s and NSW cup. What do you want?

Scored 2 good ones and close to a third. He smoked the rated Hopoate and fended off 2 parra players along the way. Too early to judge but good signs. Only started about 6 games.
