I heard a rumour that women will be incorporated into the ESL. A 'Mixed' league going forward if you will

Well done to the UK for doing this.

Mixed teams or will the comp just involve seperate men's and womens teams who play separate from each other? Women would get smashed playing men.

Glad to hear that Thurston has re-signed for the Cowboys for 2018. I was worried that he would head to Super League to boost the already high standards of that competition.

Samisoni Langi has left Penrith and will play for Leigh in the Super League.

Another talent lost to the NRL.

So someone who made a little splash in the NYC, who played 3 games for the Roosters 4 years ago and has since been struggling in reserve grade, and who couldn't make the side for Tonga this year is going to the team running stone motherless last in ESL.

How will our competition survive?

Daniel Mortimer was at Perpignan yesterday, and trained with Leigh, but didn't play against Catalans because of slight injury. Another talent lost by the NRL.

Bryson Goodwin is going to join Daniel Mortimer and Glenn Stewart and Cory Patterson at Leigh --- the SL side heading for relegation to the Championship. What a waste of talent!

By talent "lost" to the NRL, I believe it would be more appropriately phrased "another position in the Super League, denied to an English player by an Australian who couldn't hold down a first team place in Australia"

Your command of English is on par with your ability to understand Rugby League

As a side note - Jake Mamo was unlucky not to hold down a first grade spot in Australia
He was one of the best at Newcastle at a time when they were struggling. He was error prone, but he was also young and could have been an asset to many clubs.

I am glad the lad seems to have been able to fit in at Huddersfield, who have looked really good when he has been on the field. Unfortunately, injuries have restricted his appearances and Huddersfield's ability to win games. He is out injured again, this time for the rest of the season. Such a shame for Jake and the Giants,

Our reserve graders can become stars on huge money by going to the ESL.

If you took the average ESL side and put it into the NSW Cup or QLD Cup competition they would struggle to make the top 8.
