No I am not. Bird and Stewart have played , while Hinchcliffe played for Melbourne Storm. Those three are all class players.
No, you said "The back row would walk into any NRL team". And the simple truth is: they would not.
Stewart is well past it and Bird's best days are behind him. You said "played" for NSW and Australia and that's correct. Past tense. Hinchcliffe - as I have said before - was a bench player for most of his career at Melbourne.

And speaking of Melbourne, if you think any of the above named would get a start over Nelson Asofa-Solomona, Tohu Harris, Felise Kafusi, Kenny Bromwich or Dale Finucane you are as dumb as you look. While I'm at it you can add Myles to the list too. I'm not a huge fan and I think his best is long gone, but I would still have him in a heartbeat over the three you name.
And I could make similar quality lists for Easts, Cronulla, Manly, Brisbane and NQ for starters.

Yes I know.
Unfortunately he's a bit like nicotine; you know it's bad for you but sometimes you just cant resist one last puff.

At least one Super League player has returned to the NRL to inject his valuable English experience into his new club. That player is Micky Paea, formerly of Sydney Roosters, before moving to Hull Kingston Rovers, now back in Australia at the Newcastle Knights.

With your messages/likes ratio you'd be easily the champion forummer on LU ol' mate . . . I know you know Albert's a ring in
I haven't been on this forum that long but it's not hard to work out Albert & his mates are ring ins. Good for sparking some laughs and a bit of debate. In Alberts case, mass debate:wink:

Surely this post is enough to get this thread caved.

Come on mods, seriously?

The hatred of Alfred is nothing more than ugly Australian xenophobia and tall poppy syndrome.

Bloke shows a bit of interest in the wider world, looks beyond the crime strewn shores of Western Sydney, and is torn down by insular, small minded peasants.

Disgraceful.

I agree Adam, or rather I would if he said something halfway sensible once in a blue moon

His argument that players playing in the Super League constitutes a crisis in the NRL is reverse logic

The bigger crisis is with the Super League because players who are largely past it here are considered very good players there.

I watch the Super League and I enjoy it. It has way better atmosphere than the Australian game for a start

This is all true.

But if simpletons are going to be baited so easily, may as well stir the pot.

He said he goes for the Roosters because when he arrived they were the only team to have a French player.

The one and only Remi Casty!

What a great patriot that French guy is. Hopefully we'll get some more French players at the Roosters sooner or later. I would much rather have had Benjamin Garcia than Aidan Guerra.
