We will get canned if we take Copeland , Siddle and Hilfenhaus in as our quicks at the Gabba.

Pattinson has been pick of the quicks in this game. Cutting was disappointing as was Hilfy and Starc.

Warner keeps up his hot streak, not the perfect innings by any means with a tough chance and LBW scare but he is cashing in.

If the Aussies can't score runs on this pitch, they shouldn't even be considered for higher honours.

Cowan doing his chances no harm. I'd certainly not be against him getting a gig if we were struggling.

f**k we'd need to be really struggling badly for Ed to get a game...

...one more injury and we could be struggling that badly.

I am heading up to AB Field today to have a look. Wouldn't mind seeing our guys bowl.

A nice ton from Wade would certainly put the cat amongst the pigeons, but apart from him we've seen all we need on the batting side. Warner was the only one picked with any real chance of playing test cricket this summer unless we lose another 5 players to injury.

The bowling is where we need to have another look. Especially if the brains trust has worked on a play to contain Baz and see if any of the test options can implement it.

all out 395, 28 behind thanks to a good partnership from Cowan and Wade. Bracewell was a bit expensive but got 4/87, other bowlers chipping in with 2 each. Sounds like the deck is flat as, guess we'll bat until lunch tomorrow and have a couple sessions of bowling. Unless we get into a position to lose, of course.

I watched the first session and gee Cowan was good. Wade looked to be a guy trying to keep his wicket more than just batting IMO. AB Field is so tiny, it would be easy to get canned on that ground. Absolutely belter of a track as well.

333/4, Taylor with a hundred, Ryder creaming it with 125*, 10 sixes. session and a half to go, with Brownlie in they probably want to give him a bit of time to bat.

I hope we have another bowl, give everyone another 6-8 overs each.

Our batters have all got runs in the last 2 weeks which is awesome. And Young got an 80 odd, also Bracewell in this match. Bowling is what Im worried about.
